I can see why certain conditions might make it harder for someone to use (eg) the railway and that they might require some assistance, but how does making their ticket cheaper do that?
Surely the access issues remain?
I'm sorry, I've watched this over and over; what exactly is supposed to have happened?
I can't see any altercation at all. Is this the right video?
Absolutely disgraceful, and yet again this type of behaviour comes from the party that claims to stand for “protecting our women and girls” 😒 Good on @CarolineVoaden for standing her ground in the face of Farage trying to play the victim yesterday 🙌🏻
Those on the right tend to be concerned with family and their local community. They want the state to leave them alone, and don't really aspire to be in the public sector
The left are concerned with controlling the state, and as an extension community and family life.....
I'm sorry, but 'I wasn't thinking straight' is when you go out and leave the front door open, not applying for, interviewing for, obtaining and holding down five jobs simultaneously.

Will have to start in the 2's with a few Sunday friendlies first though.

I don't know who any of these people are, and I presume they are the four most famous signatories.
Hundreds of authors, including Patrick Ness, Damian Barr, Nikesh Shukla and Juno Dawson have signed an open letter in support of Sally Rooney and Faber following the news that the publisher will no longer supply her works in the UK due to government legislation designating Palestine Action a terrorist organisation.

I think it's dawning on Tory defectors to Reform that they backed the wrong horse. They’re desperate for that not to be the case, hence their increasingly desperate attacks on Badenoch etc, but their descent into the gutter makes Reform's demise more, not less, likely.

October 7 2023 is the most documented and intensely filmed crime of mass murder and atrocious sadism in all of human history. Those who celebrated it on that day, October 8 2023 and the following weeks shocked us all.
Today should only be a sorrowful day. Those who march today of all days in London or elsewhere are not only rejecting and mocking the most elementary decency but celebrating the killing, torture and rape of ordinary people. It is hard to think of anything more degenerate and depraved.
The decision to allow this march today is unconscionable, cowardly and despicable @metpoliceuk @ShabanaMahmood, an abuse and degradation of our values of free speech and assembly, particularly after countless demonstrations that have already taken place. I am afraid it reveals a saddening and alarming void at the moral centre of this government and police that should worry us all.
Shirley you can't be serious?
Just had this confirmed from a source who works at Manchester Airport. This plane full of unknown people was spotted arriving last night and it went straight to a secret terminal - it didn’t show on flight tracking apps and according to ATC radio the flight crew all used code names including Captain Oveur and ‘Striker’ to hide their real identities. They even had their own doctor on board and when he informed ground crew that some of the passengers needed to be taken to hospital because of a potential food poisoning issue with the in-flight catering, he refused to answer a simple question and merely gave a definition of the word ‘hospital.’ One of the flight crew was too busy getting off with the pilot on the tarmac to give any information - completely unprofessional.
Why is our government hiding this from us?
Given that Man City learned privately of the guilty verdict back in July, this was clearly planned. The Business Secretary should not have attended this meeting given the circumstances.
A bad error of judgement.
Very reassuring. I won't worry my pretty little head about it. Sounds like it's all under control.
