If you’re going to make such a stupid statement, at the very least be accurate.
About 250 million Arabs didn’t get to vote in today’s elections. They also didn’t get to vote last year, last decade, or even the last century. Because Israel is the only democracy in the entire region.
The Palestinian Arabs didn’t get to vote because Mahmoud Abbas cancelled the elections indefinitely. In fact there haven’t been elections in 20 years.
Blame the Arab leaders. It has nothing to do with Israel.

I must say if Chancellor Healey was looking for a standard bearer or as Shakespeare would have it - a 'Sirrah' - He need look no further than BBC'S Faisal Islam, who gave him a very decent bill of health on BBC Today, ahead of the Budget at 12.30pm today

Hey, moron, Palestinians can’t vote in Israeli elections for two simple reasons: A) They aren’t Israeli citizens, and B) their own government, the Palestinian Authority, keeps canceling elections instead of letting them vote. Try getting your facts straight before running your mouth.

Not true, my illiterate friend. There are many examples of genocides against non-Jews. For example, there was the time Muslim groups murdered well over a million Armenians and other minorities to create a more Muslim Turkey. The Muslim regime in charge of Turkey still routinely denies it, despite overwhelming evidence, while shrieking 'genocide' at Israel.
Or there was the time Islamic State barbarians murdered every Yazidi they could find (apart from the ones they held as sex slaves). I remember that one well, partly because many Muslims from my area in London left the UK to join ISIS as they were carrying out that orgy of medieval slaughter. Many of their friends and family members, who didn't bat an eyelid about that, are now shrieking endlessly about 'genocide' in Gaza - which is, ofc, simply a response to a genocidal attack on Israel by Gazan jihadists.
Or we could point to the ongoing genocidal mass murder of Christians across Africa, right now, by Muslims.
Can provide more if you'd like.

The next General Election is clearly going to be a Brexit one and probably one where Labour don’t give a referendum but simply bury rejoin in their manifesto.
Kemi and Farage need to state publicly, together on a joint platform, that IF rejoin is contained within the Labour manifesto then they will put their differences aside and coordinate their election campaigns on a Remain OUT stance.
The personal egos of politicians can not allow Labour to win this argument via the back door.

Five reasons why reopening the Brexit debate is a bad idea
1. It will reopen societal divisions that were largely settled*
Prior to Burnham's speech, ~ 12% of voters cited Brexit as a top 3 issue.
*Settled for most of the country, not for political elites & journalists!

Well would you look at that.
Arab Muslim Israelis, in Israel, lining up… TO VOTE.
It’s actually really funny, because do you know where Arab Muslims DO NOT get to vote? Samaria and Judea, or Gaza. The Palestinian Authority cancelled the election, again. 20 years now there have been none.
Because “apartheid” in Israel of course 🙄
One day, in the very distant future, the entire world will realize how they have been duped by the lies of these Arab propagandists and their western supporters.

Remember when some random Gazan woman came out with a crazy story claiming that the IDF had gone into a Gaza hospital and rape dozens of people, and hundreds of propagandists posted the story virally and it was reported on mainstream media and podcasts… then just a day later, even Hamas and Al Jazeera came out and openly admitted it was a complete lie and a fabricated story.
Well I remember. All they ever do is lie and make stuff up.

It took 10yrs to get the ioc to protect women’s sport, a 3yr battle to get nurses able to change free from all males: we are winning, bringing back common sense, safeguarding & fairness. But it shouldn’t be this hard!
POLICY CHANGED: County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has finally changed its staff changing-room policy after a three-year legal battle with the Darlington nurses in which female nurses were harassed and discriminated against for wanting a single-sex place to undress at work.
The Trust’s revised Uniform and Dress Code Policy now states:
“In accordance with UK Supreme Court ruling (2025), staff must use changing spaces according to their biological sex. Alternative unisex changing spaces are provided for staff who choose not to use an alternative facility.”
The change brings the Trust’s written policy into line with the law and the judgment secured by seven nurses at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

Again Ihab, no. Just no.
Palestinians aren’t denied rights and protection. THEY REJECTED IT… MULTIPLE TIMES. Palestinians don’t have a state and rights and all the benefits that Israelis have because they don’t want it. You’ve rejected every proposal since day 1. You rejected the UN Partition Plan and instead waged a war of annihilation. Then you did it again in 67 and 73. The Arab League signed the Khartoum Declaration of the three nos.
So feel free to blame Israel all you want. YOU and you alone are responsible for it. Blame Arafat. Blame the Arab league. Blame Hamas. Blame Abbas. Blame the fact that you didn’t even ask for a state while you were ruled by Egypt and Jordan and then changed your own charter once you waged a war against us and lost. You’re to blame. Nobody else.

Most fundamentally, if you arrive in a Downing Street promising to pass power down from the centre to the people, but instead pass it up to Brussels, you aren’t Mr Localism any more.
Rejoining the EU might help Labour squeeze the Lib Dems - but it would also mean gutting Andy Burnham’s own policy agenda, from devolution to reindustrialisation to trade to regulation. My latest for @theipaper inews.co.uk/opinion/burnham-…

Something has shifted in the polls. @reformparty_uk and the Conservative Party have now crossed over, even on the averages, and I think Reform UK's slide from here is inevitable.
I've written about the reasons before, but they bear repeating. Scandal follows them everywhere. The policy work is sloppy, and they flip-flop on the economy from right to left and back again. They call themselves the only genuine party of the right, then announce policies that read like something from @dilmabr-era Brazil - handouts dressed up as a programme. When they campaign, they lie, and on X they get community-noted so often they've racked up more notes this year than every other party combined. And they're cry-bullies: happy to misquote everyone else, but get their knickers in a twist the moment it happens to them.
The @ITV documentary on racism in the party was, honestly, a lousy piece of work. But Reform UK's response to it told you more than the film did. E.g. senior figures like @danny__kruger and Robert Jenrick wouldn't condemn racist remarks aimed at @KemiBadenoch by a Reform UK-affiliated Raheem Kassam. That matters.
Underneath all of it is something harder to pin down, but voters feel it. Reform UK is a kind of political antimatter. There's nothing positive about it - it exists purely as the anti-Tory party, a shadow that feeds on voter anger with the Conservative Party. That's why truth-telling doesn't feature in their campaigning. Lying and smearing is the only viable strategy they have, because the moment the anger fades, so do they. If Badenoch succeeds in renewing the Conservative Party - neo-Thatcherite economics, cultural patriotism, and actually persuading the voters she will deliver on a manifesto this time - there is simply no need for Reform UK. Antimatter only exists for as long as the resentment does.
And being antimatter warps you. If you believe the anger that birthed you gives you carte blanche to do whatever you like, honour and ethics stop applying. That's a futile strategy, and it tells you everything about the people behind it. They don't have Britain's interests at heart; they want power. They don't have the talent to build or govern - only to campaign, make noise, put on a show.
If you care about Britain and you're on the right, the renewed Conservative Party is the party of builders: a proper intellectual foundation, a committed and positive leader in Badenoch, and a mechanism to field the most right-wing manifesto in decades, with candidates publicly contracted to vote it through. That's the party to support.

Chart of the Day 🤓
By popular demand, here's one of UK exports both of goods and of services, and to both the EU and the rest of the world... 🤔
Three quick takeaways:
1⃣ exports of services are more important than exports of goods - and have continued to grow rapidly
2⃣ exports of goods to the EU have fallen slightly in volume terms since 2019, but they had barely grown for many years - even when the UK was in the EU
3⃣ exports of goods to the rest of the world have also been relatively weak since 2019 - so any problems on the goods side cannot just be due to Brexit

What an actual genocide looks like, btw.
Anyway, time for some context about the so-called 'Nakba' that is, always, conveniently left out:
During the 6 million person drop shown here, the leaders of the Arabs in the British mandate for Palestine sided with the Nazis. Immediately after the Nazis killed 6 million Jews, the Arabs launched a war. The aim of the war was to destroy the Jewish state that took in those Jews who'd survived and fled for safety to the Jewish homeland, despite the fact that those Jews openly offered to split the land and accept peace.
The Arabs humiliatingly lost, then ethnically cleansed their countries of all Jews in a fit of racist fury. During that war, that they started, under 1 million Arabs left the Jewish state. All of this gets boiled down to a fake victim narrative in which the true victims of all of this were the Arabs, who as a result of their genocidal efforts to kill and conquer the surviving Jews, lost their homes in the region their neighbouring Arab states invaded. They were forced to move a few miles down the road, to countries with populations that were culturally almost identical, and spoke the same language. That's the supposed 'Nakba' that, we are still told almost 8 decades later, invalidates the entirety of Israel's existence.

The choice to rename Arab Israelis as “Israeli Palestinians” does not reflect how they actually identify. Only 13% of Arab Israelis consider ‘Palestine’ as important to their identity. Most focus on being Arab and Israeli. Western media erase that and it’s gross.
