They left the door to Open Matchmaking cracked open by not making a definitive statement after the MW4 Beta.
They started adding dedicated servers in Black Ops 2 right after the MW4 Beta.
All Season 6 content for Black Ops 7 was placed in Open Matchmaking Mosh pits.
Lobbies are persisting in MW4 even though they said they wouldn't.
Matchmaking times are crazy long even for an SBMM COD game almost like we're using some place-holder system.
Something is coming.
Things that have helped me recently in MW4.
1. I slowed down. There's nowhere to be in a hurry. Sometimes you dont need to sprint.
2. Shoot first, then aim. We have perfect hip fire. Get those hits before you even fully aim in.
3. Breathe. Getting upset will make you make mistakes. Don't let deaths bother you.

While that's true, if your disagreement with decisions leads you to "quit" the franchise and only have negative things to say about it, it may be time to call it quits for real and move on. Constantly beating a dead horse is unnecessary.

when I was new to COD I watched YT gameplays from people like xJawz, FearCrads and TheMarkOfJ - all of which had at least a 5kd - and even though I was a shitter at the time, seeing these people shred lobbies and knowing it was possible made me want to get better at the game and I sank in an insane amount of hours to do so.
what does an account that is played on by some of the best players in the world collectively averaging a 1.27kd tell people? That there is no point improving at the game.
Call of Duty with its current SBMM implementation in casual playlists has to be one of the only games out there where getting better at the game makes your experience worse.

Getting more content at launch of season 1 than we did by midseason update for 2022, it’s only 2 weeks post launch not a full month, and the content coming is gas. There’s a lot of hills to die on with MW4, this one is just disingenuous.

Call of Duty news accounts should not engagement farm, especially with blatant BS like this. MW4 and MWII are worlds apart in terms of season 1 content. Season 1 of MWII saw 2 MP maps come to the game. MW4 by comparison has a minimum of 5 maps being added through the season.
MW4 Season 1 looks fun! Like what I'm seeing so far. I'm most interested in the Canyon map for MP and the new DMZ map. Both look cool!
