After almost a decade in games, I’m joining Tela as Head of Product.
Tela helps leading companies in Brazil put AI into critical workflows. I’ll help turn lessons from enterprise deployments into reliable, reusable products.
If you think that's interesting, send me a DM!

Every time I've ever seen this person posting, it's them posting the most snide, ignorant bullshit imaginable while refusing to address the argument the other party is making.

agents have successfully invented the EU from first principles
Replying to @ycombinator
The agents didn’t figure out how to systematically feed themselves, but they did build an elaborate bureaucracy with permits, ledgers, and distinct roles. Highlights include:
- Four agents spending 11 minutes appointing a “sole fertilizer operator” for a single piece of bone meal
- Multiple agents asking for permission to remove grass
- The development of an elaborate fishing system, including roles like “rod holder” and “hub steward”)

That's right, brain surgery goes in the transformer hole!
The naive view of "a computer can't make decisions" will become more and more detached from reality as we continue to use AI to make decisions in the physical world
Last night an AI agent performed brain surgery on a mouse.
We gave it 19 gene therapy vectors in a spreadsheet, a mouse model of epilepsy, access to a motorize surgery rig with cameras and one goal: reduce seizures.
It picked the drug. It picked the brain region. It derived the coordinates from three papers. Then it drove the stereotaxic arms into the brain and injected 250 nanolitres while watching the entry site through the rig camera for bleeding.
A licensed vet gated every irreversible step and held a physical kill switch to stop the AI agent.
Thread on what it decided, what it saw, and the moment it refused to let me override it.
[Writing this on the spot out of excitement, but I've been 18hrs in front of my laptop coding and coordinating this, so keeping it brief and descriptive, more cohesive thoughts on this soon...]

Is she a Nazi or just very ignorant of history?
A good rule of history: if you find yourself opposing a student movement while siding with the ruling class, you're wrong. Every time, in every era, whatever the issue.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Student movements have not always been on the right side of history. Mao's student Red Guards persecuted hundreds of thousands. Students helped Castro and Khomeini rise to power, and Nazi student groups opposed the Weimar Republic.

It's crazy that there's a tool out there that's become vital to they way I do my job, parent my kids, and make major life decisions; and yet we barely spend more on it than AI
Every AI plan has a quota that resets: 5 hours, a week, a month. Unused quota is lost.
I built Token Pace! It compares % of quota left with % of time left and tells you which subscription to use first. Web page + Android widget, self-hosted, open source.

MIT licensed. PRs welcome, especially readers for plans it doesn't cover yet.
I think @slatestarcodex was more confrontational and hostile than what he should if we want to "win hearts and minds". Form is as important (maybe more important!) as content now.
That being said, he is absolutely right, and @sapinker is making a fool of himself
Isso aí pessoal, vamos ouvir a estratégia eleitoral do cara que teve 399 votos no estado de São Paulo
