This is crazy, a jailbroken PS5 can now play original PS2 game discs directly, without needing to copy the games to digital files first.
Modders have found a way to use the PS5’s disc drive to read original PS2 DVDs and run the games through an emulator.
But they’re not stopping there. Modders are also working on getting original PS3 discs to work on the PS5
So Sony could have made this possible years ago, but they never did, they preferred to keep charging users for useless remakes.

Capitalist governments shouldn’t be allowed to give anyone the death penalty. Why should working class people allow the capitalists to choose which of us lives or dies? When capitalists go to Epstein’s Island or commit genocide, they don’t give them the death penalty.
If people are going to vibecode decomps/recomps where a better program does not exist yet, everyone should at least label it as AI prominently on everything, especially social media posts. It would make real coders more likely to make a better/actual decomp.
