I’m not voting. I don’t feel led to vote. Both sides are corrupt. Most importantly, God knows the hearts and minds of men and He will install the men and women that He needs to accomplish His purposes.

Billy Graham, Cliff and Stuart and Phillip Anthony Mitchell, from what I've seen, are not false teachers. R.C. Sproul said that Billy Graham would be seated so close to the throne of God and he would be so far away, that he would not see him in heaven. Check your pride dude.

Dude, do you have to misrepresent every step of his sermon? He's literally talking about how salvation is so much more than a Mercedes and if you value that over your salvation, your priorities are messed up. Here's his actual sermon.Don't listen to Matt. youtube.com/watch?v=j9QEYfDC…
If the best thing God can give you is a Mercedes, He don’t love you very much.” Josh Howerton tried to distance his teaching from the prosperity gospel by simply declaring it’s different. This is from his message this past weekend (11/1/26). He sets up a caricature of the prosperity gospel: God is a piñata you whack with your giving when you want cash and prizes. But it’s easy to knock down a strawman — it’s harder to deal with the actual doctrine. The most common form of the prosperity gospel is a twisted version of the sowing-and-reaping principle: you cannot receive unless you first sow. Blessing is turned into a transaction that depends on prior giving. That is the exact move Josh is making — he's just rebranding the prosperity gospel and calling it "promises in the Bible." He preaches that the biblical promises of provision are conditioned on giving your firstfruits. You give first, then the measure is returned, and the floodgates open. He also makes the whole thing a matter of faith. He says it “takes faith to give the first,” and “you can’t afford not to.” The practical message underneath the entire lesson is this: if you are not tithing your firstfruits, you lack sufficient faith in God. That is why this subtle teaching is poisonous in churches. It trains people to look at their financial obedience as the measure of their trust in God. If you do not give, it is because you do not trust Him.

Honestly, I have the feeling Israel will be thrilled at this because they want to act as an independent nation without answering to any other.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇮🇱 President Trump says the US will not pay more money to Israel.

FACTS ON FACTS
Should Republicans lose in these midterms, I would ask the conservative political talking heads NOT to blame the voters. Instead, blame the Republicans who have been spineless and lazy, and who have disenfranchised their base by refusing to do the jobs they were elected to do.

"You two are living together. Tell me more about that," I said in my office. "We already know it's not Biblical," the bride-to-be said. "Okay. Say more." "What do you mean? I'm saying we know cohabitation isn't Biblical." "Yeah that's what's confusing me. When you asked to meet, you told me you wanted a pastor who shares your Biblical values to do your wedding, but now you're telling me you knowing don't live according to Biblical values? Tell me about how you decided to cohabitate." "Well, we know what the Bible says about marriage and sex, but my lease was up and if I moved in with my parents it'd be a 45 minute drive and if I got my own place again, it'd be a waste of thousands of dollars." "Ah. So time and money are your gods." "No they aren't, we're Christians." "Maybe. But it seems like you're not - a god is what tells you how to live. You chose to listen to time and money on sex and cohabitation instead of Jesus. Which is your god?" "Does this mean you won't do our wedding?" "I didn't say that. But, you did say you wanted a pastor. That's why we're here. I'm a pastor, not a hireling wedding officiant. Do you want a pastor or a vender for your wedding?" "A pastor." "Okay, great. Then here's my concern for you: you've developed a habit of hardening your hearts against the authority of Scripture and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Today, if you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as they did in the rebellion. You said your Christians, I'll take your word for it right now, but you need to repent and move out until your wedding night. Jesus will certainly forgive if you repent and he'll cleanse you from all unrighteousness." "Okay. So, if we don't do this then you won't do our wedding?" "You're missing the point here. You're not even close to worried enough about what God thinks or says. My job as a pastor is to help you care about what God says, not get you to care about what I say.” “Okay.” “Do you have anything to say?” I said to the Groom-To-Be. “No.” “That’s a bummer. You’re not going to lead this family if you have nothing to say.” “Okay.” “Alright. Well, you have a lot to think about. If you want a pastor, I’d be happy to be a part of your wedding. If you want a vendor, let me know. More important than your wedding is your relationship with Jesus. Is He your God or not? Think and pray together.” *an email three days later* “We’ve decided to go a different direction.” — Some thoughts: 1. My heart breaks for those who make time and money their god. This idolatry is oppressive. 2. I’d for sure officiate the wedding of two non-Christians. As long as they’re okay with me telling the truth about what marriage is and who and what it’s for, I’m in. This is a 10/10 evangelism opportunity straight out of Eph 5:32. 3. But, two professing Christians who are sinning highhandedly? No. “For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.” 1 Co 5:12–13).

Endure in the faith. This is why I don't ascribe to "Once Saved Always Saved" because you have the choice to abandon your faith and go with the world. There is 100% security in your faith, it's not something you can easily lose. It's not contingent on your works or anything like that. This isn't about back sliders who have faith, but are more worldly. But the moment you deny Christ is your savior and believe it, you've walked away and denied Christs forgiveness and protection. Scripture warns about this happening, if there's warnings to endure in your faith and that you can fall away by your own choice, then it simply must be so.
Why does the Bible say those who endure UNTIL THE END will be saved?
106
Sure. Consequences. Everyone is on the path to Hell by default. This is what we choose by following our own desires over God and denying Him. God's love is He became a man to pay the just price for sin so you don't have to go there. He offered you a way out in spite of hating sin so much He wants it completely away from Him and views it as something that deserves this level of punishment. Those who are evil don't think they're that evil, typically. We think God is being harsh because we're just blind to how bad we are. God, however, ensures everyone has a chance to not have this fate in various ways through different types of revelation of who He is whether it's simply looking at creation and determining He created it, or hearing the gospel message that Jesus paid the price for sin and died for you. Only those who actively hate God and rebel against Him get thrown into the lake of fire for eternity, the ones who refuse to deny that His judgment is just that they have sinned against Him. All of us have sinned and fallen short the glory of God. None of us are perfect. He loves us enough to forgive us of that in spite of our evil nature, and offers to help change us.
Explain the love of god to me. Explain it like I’m 5. Love doesn’t do this to anybody.

More accurately, when you are the source of your own righteousness, you are a branch cut off from the tree. You no longer have the root, which is Christ, that bears you.

I stopped watching ages ago. Too many big inaccuracies, too many side characters (like the African woman that's smarter than everyone else), and pride flags are waving behind the scenes. This is just bizarre. You're going to model the messengers of God after tribals that didn't believe in Him?

Here is the thing with Mormonism that gets overlooked. To be with God in the Celestial Kingdom, you must be as perfect as God is perfect. The moment you hold anyone to the commandments of God, they have to admit they are, in fact, not as perfect as God is perfect. That is when the excuses come for why they don't HAVE to be as perfect as God is perfect, because they realize on an instinctual level that this standard is impossible. Mormons are in danger of being in the outer darkness because their entire faith revolves around works. The standard is perfection which they fail at as every human does. They claim they keep the law, while when pushed admit that doing so is impossible. James 2:10 breaks their claims of "You can be imperfect and still enter into heaven, just a lesser one." If you stumble in one point of the law, you have broken the entirety. Romans 3:10, NONE are righteous. So, what does this mean when you look at Mormonism and scripture? The Celestial Kingdom is impossible because none are truly faithful Mormons that can perfectly keep the law, Terrestrial is impossible due to none being righteous, so all that's left is the outer darkness. Hebrews 10:4 however, disproves all of Mormonism. We are considered as perfect as God is perfect because God, Jesus Himself, paid the price of sin on the cross for us. It is His own perfection applied to us that allows us to enter into Heaven, not our own works which we do out of love for Christ, not because we think we can earn rewards or enter into Heaven by them.

Imagine thinking that Jesus is command to be perfect just like he and his God are perfect doesn’t actually mean what it says, and that Jesus was lying. Jesus literally commanded us to be perfect like He and His God are perfect. It doesn’t mean to do everything flawlessly, and if you think that, you do not understand the scriptures.

No, that’s a mis-framing. Actual viewers aren’t divided. It’s further dividing those who don’t watch the show but criticize it from those who do watch it.

This...literally was not what was taught at all. It is scriptural that you give 10% of what you earn, the first fruits, to God and scripture does say God will bless you for doing so. I do disagree with him about what he taught about Cain, because I argue Cain likely did give the first fruits of his crop to God, but that sacrifice isn't one that covers sin and that's why Cains sacrifice was not accepted. I argue that @howertonjosh preached that if you give the first fruits to God, you'll be blessed and encouraged doing so. Almost every pastor I know, and I'm sure he'd agree, that you'd give this tithe to where you're fed spiritually, your home church. Part of his point is that the more money you have, the more hesitant you become at giving a tithe because it's so much money. This goes into Jesus saying it's far more easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God, because the rich man loves his wealth and begins giving excuses. Are tithes required for salvation? No. But they certainly do have a blessing that come with them.
Josh Howerton actually did it! The first sermon back after the "sell your house scandal" was an hour long guilt trip about how you MUST tithe or else you are like Cain - God can't accept your worship unless you pay up, but then that still isn't enough #IntoTheBreach

People are thinking Mormon influence. I'm thinking this is a great example of why C.S. Lewis wrote from the demon's perspective in "Screwtape Letters". We sinful people can't understand angels. The angels knew the plan so they wouldn't be rushing into attack the guards.
