Turning Net-Zero Ambition into Action 🌱 Last week saw the launch of the Report - Pathways to Net Zero for the Waste and Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) Sectors. This marked an important step in advancing Trinidad and Tobago’s transition towards a greener, more resilient economy. The initiative was made possible through the support of the Government of the United Kingdom, through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and British High Commission, which provided funding through the Climate Diplomacy Fund. The Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development (MPEAD) provided oversight, while the Environmental Management Authority (EMA) served as the executing agency responsible for implementing the project. But what do these pathways mean for Trinidad and Tobago? More importantly, how can we turn the recommendations into practical action?
