You are spectacularly ungrateful, John. I helped keep the evening funny as you veered off into a weird rant about one of your fellow Pythons. You even repeated an unpleasant, narcissistic story in the second half of one of the events that you’d already told in the first half. It was profoundly awkward. Your rudeness doesn’t help you, and it’s you who has made this personal.

The 28-year-old suspect in the Ann Widdecombe case was arrested on Saturday evening, 11 July 2026.
It now seems he is being held under suspicion of terrorism so he can be held for 7 days, and even up to 14 days with magistrates extensions.
It will be interesting if after all that they decide the journey times don't fit and they just let him go.

SENATOR RÓNÁN MULLEN said Ireland is “not immune” to violence against politicians following the killing of former UK minister Ann Widdecombe.
Several politicians and TDs attended a mass for Widdecombe today in St Teresa’s Church on Clarendon Street in Dublin city centre.
The 78-year-old former MP and MEP was found dead at her home in Devon on Thursday, in what detectives have described as a “targeted attack”.
