I worked a lot of hours this week, so had to wait til Friday to treat Mama B to lunch.
I was so unproductive today at my office job. I forgot my computer glasses and let me tell you, I am freaking blind! 😂 Heading out to the corn field to harvest, take care my friends. 😎
Heading out to the field shortly but first a funny story.
My son goes to a University nearby. He sits by a girl who has never had farm fresh eggs. So he brought her some. The next week she said I'm going to need some more of those eggs. So another girl overheard them and said oh you got chickens? Can I have eggs too? So in he went Monday with 2 dozen eggs. The other boys and the professor were teasing him on what a great way it was to pick up "chicks". 🤭 My son said well if you need to impress a girl I can be your egg dealer. 😂😂🥚🥚🥚

Chicken fact!! Growing up there was always the white egg vs brown egg question. But now that we have chickens, I love seen all the SHADES of brown. These are all from our Copper marans. They are very consistent layers and I love it when we get super dark eggs. We also get some speckles sometimes. I’ve never really noticed a taste difference… but I still prefer these. How about you?
🤭🤭😂 Had to get gas today. Stopped at a place right by where I work. Paid almost 4.69/gallon. On my way home, gas was way cheaper everywhere else. I think gas stations are price gouging. Next time I'll just stop at Kroger $4.07 😂
