A truly nauseating American story of Christianity (sic), about four divorces, and two rather convenient redemptions. nytimes.com/2026/10/27/us/ke…
Cheapskate Farage has bought one of those enamel poppers which you only need to buy one and then you don’t need to buy any more ever again. It’s a national disgrace.
This is a bogus talking point that only political parties indulge in and even then only for rhetorical purposes; that journalists echo it just shows their superficiality or partisanship or both.
More of this now on @GBNEWS now on Good Afternoon Britain with me and the great @CarverEmily 👇
The logic of this is no govt can explore different policies to the ones in their manifesto, even if they’re not going to enact until they’ve been endorsed by another election victory. It’s quite pathetic rhetoric from a political party but from a journalist it’s rather sad.
This is extraordinary. Where is the mandate? The PM was elected by 25,000 voters in Makerfield 100 days ago today - and now this in the @Telegraph. 👇

Driving is free? I’d better get in touch with the car manufacturers and the oil companies and demand a refund.
Replying to @parr_craig61423 @MayorofLondon
Driving everywhere is free private mobility. Public mobility makes people dependent on public provision. And why then is decent public transport now banned from Oxford Street?
He says that like it’s something we should be grateful for.
“Brexit would not have happened if I had not been born,” says Nigel Farage. Watch now on @GBNEWS.

He probably will spend so long on the toilet these days the shit house comparison probably just springs to his mind such as it is quite naturally now.
One of our problems is that too many people think Britain is on the brink of disaster and things have never been worse, a narrative which people like this guy promote.
In his latest column, PopCon Director, @MarkJLittlewood, writes that not enough people are aware of the perilous state that Britain is in. "It’s one minute to midnight and we seem to believe we can treat early stage cancer with Lemsip." popularconservatism.com/mark…
Oh no: people, we’ve lost Sting.
My Jerry Lewis story made me question the BBC for the rest of my career.
As a student, I did work experience on a show investigating dodgy hypnotists. I travelled with two female BBC producers to Blackpool to interview a victim (you don’t want to know).
At the hotel, a man was walking out as I walked in. We both held the door and stared at each other.
“After you,” I said.
“No, after you, young man”, he replied.
I smiled, thanked him, and we passed.
I turned to the producers: “Do you know who that was?”
“Nope,” one said, in a tone suggesting I shouldn’t be making eye contact, let alone talking.
“That was Jerry Lewis.”
They stared. “Who?”
“Jerry Lewis. Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis?”
More staring. “Never heard of him.”
“You’ve never heard of Jerry Lewis?” Internally, I was furious. Externally, I was still trying to get a job in TV.
“Is he someone we’re interviewing?” one asked.
“No.”
“Then I’m not interested,” she snapped. “Put the gear over there.”
What struck me wasn’t Jerry Lewis being in Blackpool (I found out later that he was filming Funny Bones). It was that these two women were producers with almost no knowledge of entertainment history, TV or film. I know this because I spent the rest of the week asking them very easy questions they couldn't or wouldn't answer. Yet they’re the people who decide what YOU should watch and what YOU’LL find interesting.
After 25 years of being stuck in tiny edit suites with people like this (and honestly, it’s the norm), I could write a book about idiotic TV decision-makers who think they’re the smartest in the room and make choices based on what they assume YOUR intelligence level is.
