A dog ate @DoW_AARO's homework: @RepAndreCarson's referring to the AARO (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) Historical Record Report (also called the Historical UAP Record Report or HR2), specifically the still-unreleased Volume II.
This is the congressionally mandated report required by Section 6802 of the FY2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). It directs AARO (under the Department of Defense, with ODNI involvement) to produce a written report to the congressional defense and intelligence committees detailing the historical record of U.S. government involvement with unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). That includes official investigations since 1945, how incidents were handled, the role of classified/special access programs, and whether relevant activities were properly disclosed to Congress....you know, the good stuff!
- Volume I (February 2024; publicly released/cleared March 2024) covers findings from 1945 through 31 October 2023. It reviewed official investigatory efforts, archives, roughly 30 interviews, and claims about reverse-engineering or recovered non-human technology. AARO reported finding no empirical evidence that any U.S. government investigation or program confirmed extraterrestrial technology, reverse-engineering of off-world craft, or related hidden programs (many claims were assessed as inaccurate, misidentified classified programs, or circular reporting). It explicitly notes that Volume II would follow with later analysis.
- Volume II was planned to analyze information, interviews, and research from roughly 1 November 2023 onward (including via AARO’s secure reporting mechanism). As of late 2026, AARO’s public products list Volume I but show no public Volume II.
- As of late October 2026, the report remains unpublished. AARO’s official Congressional and Press Products page lists Volume I (released March 2024) but contains no Volume II entry, and the office has not announced a new target date.
- The closest official statement came in February 2026. When DefenseScoop asked why AARO had not released unclassified reports (explicitly noting both the then-unpublished FY2025 annual report and the second historical volume) or briefed reporters for more than a year, Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough replied: “We have nothing to announce at this time.” She provided updates on the overall caseload (over 2,000 reports) but offered no rationale specific to Volume II.
- Acting Director Tim Phillips, in a March 2024 press briefing, reiterated that the historical work was ongoing and that Volume II would incorporate information acquired since 1 November 2023. No subsequent public updates have explained the multi-year gap.

Look, I’m not convinced of the CR program allegations one bit, but Phillips’ confidence that an illegally hidden IC program doesn’t exist because they asked nicely if it exists and were told no should be laughable. Utter naïveté.

When asked if aliens are real, he didn’t say yes.
He pointed to waived, bigoted special access programs with near-zero oversight whose stated purpose is aliens.
Real craft, fake craft, or cover for something else—he doesn’t know.
What he does know: there’s a giant lump under the rug. It’s moving. And almost nobody is treating it as urgent.

This really is quite an extraordinary admission from Health Secretary RFK @SecKennedy. He spoke first-hand to SEALs and Green Berets who revealed their role in UFO retrievals. A senior administration official with knowledge of people directly involved in covert UAP retrievals. @POTUS @WhiteHouse @StephenM. Give @RepLuna a TV host job applying the blowtorch!

This is the Health Secretary saying a NASA scientist, Navy SEALs and Green Berets came to him in Palm Beach during the transition and told him they were under orders to destroy UFOs, recover what was left, and that they had worked out how to call the ships. He did not wave it off. He said the briefings carried on once he was inside, and that a lot of what he has been shown is really, really crazy.
If that group exists, and if they really can call the craft in, the world is tuned in. Show the hand.

One of the things I’ve observed in our community is how friendship is used to subtly compromise key players in the field. How does this happen? First, someone is approached by a person we’ll call a “contact” (e.g. another researcher, a podcaster, etc.). Over several months, a bond of trust is established. Once that bond is established, the contact starts exerting influence over the key player. This might come with concrete demands. The key player has two options: agree or disagree. The moment they disagree about something (e.g. who they are friends with, who they talk to, or which professional decisions they make), the contact will turn on them and begin undermining their reputation, sometimes in public.
I find this behaviour lamentable. It reminds me of a film from the early 2000s called “Mean Girls” (great movie).
I have no idea how to inspire more dignified behaviour in the field, but how about we try to cherish genuine bonds rather than exploit them for the sake of information control? Be my friend, or don’t -- but be authentic in your intentions.

And as Grusch and other whistleblowers have recently said, give me immunity/protection @POTUS and I’ll spill the classified beans. Let’s call their bluff.
What David Grusch said on @joerogan represents an entire strata of fairly consistent, highly specific overlapping stories told by many people over many years. If you are just hearing it now for the first time and are skeptical, you should know that there are generals, scientists, commandos, politicians', versions as well. It just goes on and on.
You can't make it go away by saying "That particular guy has a mental problem." There are dozens of such sober sounding people with a breathtakingly enormous overlap. It would be the world's largest flash theater troupe of master actors. Or an emergent mass delusion.
I find it all but impossible to explain. At some point you do have to ask: "What if I just take it literally?"
That's not a huge improvement mind you (e.g. All aliens have tetrapod body plans??? Really????). But it's a kind of weird you have likely never experienced if you stare it in the face. No matter how you slice it.
As I have been saying: something HUGE is up.
And keep your eyes on New Mexico: Nukes-Trafficking-UAP-Physics-Espionage-"Drones". All the stories converge there.

Podesta’s response to Grusch is interesting.
He doesn’t categorically deny providing “top cover” for an alleged UAP acclimatization/popularization effort.
Instead: “That is probably not how I would characterize our interaction” and “My recollection is…”
It’s a carefully qualified response that leaves the central allegation - whether Podesta authorized, approved or facilitated such an effort - unresolved in my opinion.
NEW: John Podesta responds to David Grusch’s claims from yesterday's Joe Rogan interview.
In an email to PARADIGM, Podesta acknowledged participating in a call to discuss "amongst other things, declassifying DOD files and reducing the stigma of professionals taking UAP’s seriously" with Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge, retired Air Force Gen. Neil McCasland, and Rob Weiss, then-head of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works.
But Podesta contested Grusch's claim that it was part of a broader "acclimatization" effort to prepare society for the truth about UFOs ahead of the 2016 election.

What @RepEricBurlison indicates in this clip should be of immense concern to our governmental leadership and to the general public: allegations that releasable UAP information is being deliberately withheld by members of the "Deep State.".
Congress and the Executive Branch must ensure that legally releasable UAP records are identified, reviewed, and made available to the American public.
There is no alternative.
