This is simultaneousl so on-brand for this Thunder team and an absolutely horrendous call.
There’s nothing in the rulebook that says touching a person with the ball while standing out of bounds results in the ball being out of bounds. You actually have to touch the ball!
Sam Presti isn’t the best executive in sports just because he makes smart trades and drafts great players (although he does both of those things).
It’s also because of the culture he’s created and the leadership he provides, in good times and bad. There’s no one better.
❝People talk all the time about how OKC is one of the best places, if not the best place to play... I also think it is considered one of the best places to play, because the fans are awesome when the wind isn't at your back also. That is something I think is going to be really important for us as we work through the next steps. ❞ - GM Sam Presti
You don’t get to choose your challenges, but you do get to choose how you respond. We know who Dub is and how he responds. No doubt in my mind that 8 will come back better than ever. 💙🧡
Seeing as we’re apparently not allowed to play a wing without them getting injured, I propose that we start Aday Mara at the 3. Does it make sense? No. Will it work? Also no. But will the vibes improve? Absolutely.
I am totally serious: this would be one of the only things that could salvage this season. Not from a competitive standpoint, but from a vibes perspective. Russ in a Thunder jersey one more time would heal the city after Dub’s injury.
BYU not making the final four for a top-ranked Mormon kid would have felt cataclysmic a few years ago. Now, I think most of the fan base just assumes we'll go get another elite recruit.
The KY Era is wild, man.
NEWS: Demarcus Henry, the No. 4 overall prospect in the class of 2027, is down to four schools, and will announce his college decision on October 30th.
Finalists: Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisville, UNC

I’ve said it before, & I’ll say it again, you’ll never hear me say a bad word about Jalen Williams.
He has continuously sacrificed his body for this team & city in an attempt to win.
We say we want the athletes we root for to care & make sacrifices — & he’s done it over & over. He’ll come back from this. He’s a dog.
Every serious injury hits hard, but this one feels like a gut punch because of who Dub is as a person and everything that he’s fought through. No one deserves to go through this, but he deserves it the least. I feel absolutely gutted for him.
Dub is the least deserving person for something so awful. He’s a warrior in every sense of the word that has battled through so much injury adversity as is. He has already had to battle so many mental hurdles and he needs our support now more than ever. We love you, @jdubwttp 💙
If you ever hear someone say “Shai can’t be MVP because OKC would still be good without him,” you know they don’t actually watch Thunder games.

WHO’S READY FOR THE BURGESS BOWL????? @chrisburgess34
The central lesson of the Book of Mormon is that the Lord WILL have a humble people. You can choose to humble yourself or He will do it for you.
BYU sports continues to be one of His most potent tools for achieving this.
FWIW, this joke killed at my ward Halloween party tonight…
Getting to #2 for the first time in 40 years and then immediately humiliating themselves in Orlando is actually the most BYU thing ever.
I promise you, this is far from the first time a bunch of young Mormon boys have crapped the bed in close proximity to Walt Disney World…
