Today I’m told Zionism is apartheid, racism, evil & racist. Why?
What’s the definition of Zionism? Why is an Islamic state okay but a Jewish state isn’t okay? Why does the UK left support Islamic extremism, and Jihadism but call Zionism evil?
Make this all make sense 🙏
I think your point about education is particularly important.
We teach children about ancient civilisations, their histories and their connections to the world today. Yet Jewish history is too often reduced to the Holocaust, with thousands of years of identity and connection to the land barely discussed.
It's difficult to have an informed debate about Zionism when so many people have never been taught the history behind it.

I’ve often thought that religion gets too much blame for conflicts. I’d say it was people, who use/abuse religion as a power tool.

I want politicians in councils, across party to work together to fix things.
I don’t appreciate Mr Findlay MSP making a party political broadcast out of this.
I don’t care that the resident in the video talking to Mr Flynn MSP is a Tory herself, she’s a resident with serious issues which need heard.
Let’s get them all working together here to protect Largs from the sea & storms. Co-operation please 🙏
If politicians can’t work together at council and/or Holyrood then why do we use d’hondt and STV to elect them?
If a mix of representation means endless bun fights between parties & fewer practical results & solutions solved with co-operation, then why bother?
Will higher barriers help? Do residents want higher barriers which may obstruct their view in summer? Help with insurance & repairs required? Pay more insurance? There’s problems, solutions, answers and a conversation to be had.
How about working like adults?

Wee Jimmy's dad died of a drugs overdose, he lives in a hoose thats cold in winter. His mum can't afford to send him to activities. There's no enough scran in the hoose. He lives in a damp flat where water gets in, but its awrite, he's on a equal footing coz he's got a schoolbag
What’s happened in Gaza has been one of the worst live conflicts & destructive loss of life I have witnessed. Deplorable, shocking and inhumane. Not forgotten the IDF videos mocking the families as they forced them out of their homes, wearing female underwear, hanging teddy bears with nooses.
Won’t forget Oct 7th either.

Why is the aim to drive the Jews from Israel morally acceptable but them defending themselves from this since about 1948 not okay? From my reading it seems Israel was never accepted from the onset.
I can’t imagine growing up having to defend myself from the other side perpetually. What would that turn any of us into? Anyway, that’s what makes me “complicit in genocide” and/or a sociopathic Nazi according to those on the political left who seem to be so damn sure they are the “good, decent” guys.
