Tether reduced the gold backing its USDT stablecoin by 3.4 metric tons in the third quarter, bringing holdings to 142.8 metric tons at the end of September. It is the first decline since the company became a significant gold buyer last year. Its separately issued XAUT gold token now holds 25.7 metric tons, up nearly 4 metric tons from end-July. Tether did not disclose a reason for the reduction in USDT reserves. Source: Reuters

To me, this is the most compelling Athabasca Basin U peer comparison of all. Per 1% of share price appreciation, $NXE's Leigh Curyer received ~5.2× the compensation of $CCJ's Gitzel and ~12.1× $DNN's Cates. That's quite a spread, silently justified by complacent shareholders...

$NXE's case against the CNSC 🇨🇦 began over pre-licence freeze hole drilling that the CNSC deemed illegal site prep. In June, the Federal Court dismissed $NXE's bid for 20 extra document categories as a "fishing expedition." The main case remains open. Court ruling posted below.
