The U.S. military estimates the Iran war cost at least $47.1 billion through Oct. 16, according to figures U.S. Central Command provided to lawmakers. About $29 billion is for replacing munitions, while the estimate also includes equipment replacement and other military costs. It does not include damage to U.S. bases in the Middle East, so the full bill could be higher.
The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in 12 innings in Game 4, scoring twice in the bottom of the 12th to avoid elimination.
Milwaukee still leads the World Series 3-1 and is one win from its first championship. Polymarket put the Brewers at about 91% to win the series, with roughly $47.8 million in total volume.
