Just so we're all clear on this, the Trump administration is harboring a fugitive illegal immigrant after they tried to steal an election with help from his billionaire donors. Again.

All I ask is that we hold American & Israeli players to the same standards we hold Russian players to & that we stop conflating anti Zionism with antisemitism If you’re a proud Zionist you deserve the heat for it just like if you were a proud nazi. It’s a supremacist ideology

Gen Z coworker was telling me about how he wants to get into sports betting and I was like “Just remember, they don’t pay for all those commercials because people win all the time” and I think I accidentally blew his mind he looks down and was like “Woah… yeah… huh…”

This is singlehandedly the biggest difference between right wingers and everybody else in modern day politics. When centrists or left leaning parties lose a democratic election, they concede and try again a couple years later. When right wingers lose, they scream election fraud and hope that it sticks without even understanding that the acceptance of an election is the single most important thing in democratic societies. Actively destroying the populations trust in the results can not be in anyone's interest who wants to keep the democracy alive.

Funny how 'keep politics out of hockey' never seems to apply when it's about conservative politics
I just wanted to send a thank you to the voters of British Columbia for showing up and voicing your opinion on the change in leadership this past weekend. I love my country and my now home province of BC and am optimistic this change will allow one of the most beautiful places in the world to prosper even further. I wish @LDoerkson and his team nothing but the best in the work that’s ahead. 🇨🇦

I hope the viewership is low as fuck and they abandon this ridiculous paywall venture. It’s gotten so expensive to watch AT HOME and that’s pitiful.
Alberta will play host to both national games in Canada tonight exclusively on Sportsnet+. The Flames (3-0-0) host the Maple Leafs (4-0-0) with both teams on a win streak, while Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid aim for a fifth consecutive multi-point game.

This is just what right-wingers worldwide are gonna do every time they lose an election now.
BREAKING: Flávio Bolsonaro: It is impossible to recognize the election results in the context of how these things happened. We are going to use our legal team, we are going to request the annulment of these elections.

How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

Funny how 'stay out of our politics' only ever seems to apply southbound at the border. Also worth reminding our American friends that 'Conservative' doesn’t translate the same way up here. Disagree with them or not, traditional Canadian conservatism (mostly) is still built on fiscal policy and institutions, not a personality cult, vaccine-to-crocodile conspiracies, imaginary transoceanic swimming caravans, or blaming the housing crisis on washroom signs.
