Get ready Church world! Mel Gibson is re-releasing “The Passion of the Christ” in theaters September 10-17. What a powerful film! And in this re-release, Mel gives us a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of “The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One,” which will be coming out soon. I pray this film will ignite a whole new generation to want to know who Jesus was, and is, and the impact He can have on your life. No one in history has impacted the world like Jesus Christ. Watch this trailer…

Texas Pastor Josh Howerton Shares What Megachurch Pastors Actually Do With Their Money “What a lot of people don’t know is what he did with all the money. First, he repaid the church every dollar that they’d ever salaried him. Then he and his wife sat down and figured out how to reverse tithe on the money.” “They gave away 90% and only lived on ten. He used that money to start a series of nonprofits that helped the poor. People ask, ‘Why don’t I ever hear those stories?’ Because planes that land safely don’t make the news.” @howertonjosh

I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory. I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.

No, the discovery of "aliens" would not destroy Christianity. However, I want to warn Christians everywhere about this current alien/UFO hysteria 👇

Darrell Royal, former Texas HC, on when he visited Longhorn practices during Mack Brown’s tenure as the Horns’ HC: “The coaches are nice enough to explain to me what they're doing and what they're trying to accomplish. I see a lot of time-saving drills that have been instituted since my coaching days. And I just wondered, why didn't we think of having the drill in this manner so we could get in more repetitions? That's what practice is for, to repeat over and over situations that you're going to see in an actual game. And the more repetitions you get, the better off the drill. I never liked coaches to stop and coach players after every move they made. It takes time away from them repeating it over and over and over till it gets so they don't have to think in those situations: they just react, and react to something that they learned in a drill.”

““If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you.” John 15:18-20 NLT #IDONTEVENBELONGHERE🫶🏾🙏🏾💜 #ThankYouJESUS

Michigan Men’s Basketball Player Nimari Burnett on his Christian faith: “I read the Bible every single day, and it’s just a part of who I am and who I’m becoming. I feel like Jesus Christ sacrificed for us to be here and to be on this stage… A strong believer and it leads me to walk a Christ-led life and just to love everyone around me.” “I’m grateful to be here and I know that’s a big part of it.” Credit: @cbnsports_

To the broken, to the lost, to the undeserving, there’s hope In Jesus. Repent and believe in The Gospel(Good News). “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.” Isaiah 53:5-6

The world said this about Jesus. “Some said, “He’s demon possessed and out of his mind. Why listen to a man like that?” John 10:20   God The Father said this to Jesus. “Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to him.” Mark 9:7   Jesus reminds us as His Followers “—If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!” Matthew 10:25   The world calls us crazy, but God calls us Sons and Daughters.

Chris Pratt drops this unfiltered truth bomb at the MTV Awards: "God is real. He loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do. Learn to pray. It's easy, and it's so good for your soul." Then he goes deeper: - "Nobody is perfect. People are going to tell you you're perfect just the way you are. You're not. You are imperfect. You always will be." - "But there is a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you're willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift." - "Like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with somebody else's blood. Do not forget it. Don't take it for granted." Raw, direct, zero apologies—delivered on one of the biggest stages in entertainment. Still one of the most talked-about acceptance speeches years later. What hits you hardest from this? The call to pray, the reminder of imperfection, the grace message, or something else? Share your thoughts below—open to hearing where it lands for you.
