Private transfers just landed on Startale App
Summer Fiesta is getting more interesting.
The Friends Mini App, powered by @PrivacyBoost, is now live on @StartaleApp, bringing private transfers directly to your smart wallet on @Soneium.
The concept is simple:
Deposit -> Send privately -> Earn STAR Points
Here’s the current mission:
• Deposit 10 USDSC into the pool -> 40 STAR Points
• Send any amount of USDSC to a friend -> 30 STAR Points
• Total -> 70 STAR Points
What I find interesting is the privacy angle.
Instead of exposing your transaction history publicly, Friends lets users make shielded transfers from their smart wallet.
This makes privacy feel less like an advanced crypto feature and more like something an everyday user can actually access.
The campaign runs from August 24 – September 21.

I’ve been exploring another interesting use case inside @StartaleApp: the Cryptorefills Mini App.
Instead of treating crypto as something that only lives onchain, Startale is making it usable for everyday needs:

And the scale is impressive: 6,600+ brands across 180+ countries.

Toss, the financial super-app used by more than 30 million people in South Korea, will test whether regulated stablecoin payments can operate on public infrastructure without exposing customer activity or merchant revenues, the project announced.
The three-month proof-of-concept brings together Toss, @Optimism, and Sunnyside Labs. Privacy Boost will provide confidential payments and remittances, while the OP Stack will give institutions control over transaction ordering and settlement.
We're partnering with Toss to explore a privacy-protected Korean Won stablecoin.
Over the next 3 months, @sunnyside_io, @toss__official, and @optimism will run a PoC on blockchain infrastructure for regulated digital finance in Korea.
