I think what made TNG a way more enjoyable experience was my brother telling me that TNG never shows the wheels on the chairs on set cuz future, so every episode I kept my eye out for every time they show the wheels in a shot and pointed them out.
It was very funny
If someone tells you to skip the first seasons of a show, or even the bad seasons of a show, don’t trust them when they say they love the show.
