He’s been getting consistent scoring opportunities for Atlanta, and I love the matchup he’s getting tonight against New Orleans. The Pelicans rank 26th in scoring defense this season, making this a great spot for Wiggins to continue his strong start. He’s shown he can get over this number consistently, and now gets another favorable matchup against a struggling defense. What stands out to me most is where Wiggins gets his points. 34% of his scoring comes from the top of the key, an area where New Orleans ranks 24th defensively. FADE OF THE DAY 👎🏻 Sion James “U” 7.5 Points+Rebounds (-115) collab w/ @coleyscashes 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻 We just faded this man the other day & was a perfect read - he is NOT good. He’s averaging 3.7 points along with 3 rebounds on 25 minutes per game. While going under this line in 6/7 games this season. From the looks of things this Hornets coaching staff is finally realizing he’s not worth 23+ minutes, as his minutes got cut to just 18 in his last game & I truthfully think we continue to see them get cut little by little & that this line is still to high. The Pistons also allow the 7th FEWEST points (22.5) & 1st FEWEST rebounds (5.8) & 3rd LEAST FG% (42.3) to opposing SGs. James Top 3 Shot% + Top 1 Rebound% vs Pistons defense: - 40% from Above The Break 3 / Pistons rank 7th best defensively ✅ - 26% from Restricted Area / Pistons rank 2nd best defensively ✅ - 18% from Left Corner 3 / Pistons rank 5th best defensively ✅ - 46% rebounds from Above The Break 3 / Pistons rank 4th best defensively ✅ He’s also under this line in his L2/2 matchups against the Pistons with just 5 & 7 PR on an average of 20 minutes per game. NBA Play 🏀 Ty Jerome #GrindCity o29.5 Points+Assists (FanDuel -118) Collab with @ThePropCPA 🔥 Ty Jerome is running Memphis’s offense with a 32.8% usage rate, third-highest in the NBA, and he’s averaging 36.0 points plus assists so far this season. On the scoring side, 59% of his shots come from the 3-to-16-foot range, and that’s where Portland’s defense is weakest. The Blazers allow the most mid-range attempts in the league and let opponents make 53.3% of them. He’s also making 88% of his free throws on more than eight attempts a night, and Portland ranks 24th in free-throw rate allowed. The assist number is solid too: he’s creating 12.5 potential assists per game and turning about 50% of them into assists, right in line with the league rate, so the 6.3 assists per game looks repeatable. Memphis and Portland both rank top-4 in pace, so this should be the highest-possession game on tonight’s slate, with more chances to score and pass.
