The buyer initially rented the domain at 2% of the BIN price per month.
After 4 months of renting, they decided to pull the trigger and purchase the domain outright.
A great example of how domain rentals can turn into full acquisitions.

According to a private channel, 365.com was sold for ¥100 million RMB (about $15 million USD) a couple of months ago. It was previously owned by OG Chinese domain investor Mr. Lin.

I still couldn’t believe this is still an issue. Is @GoDaddy @godaddyauctions IT team on strike or what? I am not sure what they wanted to achieve? It is one of the company whose progress is backward as far as tech advancement goes. Sorry to say but this is fact. I am being grateful to them, but sometimes we need to share the fact. I hope they take some action to fix this issue ASAP.

The premium domain name market is one of the rare asset classes that is recession-proof.
As each one comes off the market, there is less supply of memorable and category-defining words that brands can leverage.

It hasn’t been working properly for me for the past few days, and I’m unable to place bids reliably.
Curious if others are experiencing the same issue or if this is isolated to my account/device.

⚠️ A warning for anyone buying domains through @get_fruits or dealing with @Karakehayov.
Machine.si was listed by Kalin for €4,800. I initially decided not to purchase it.
I then received an email from @get_fruits telling me the domain was still available and that the seller would proceed.
Based on that email, I decided to buy it and made payment.
After paying, Fruits contacted me saying Machine.si had already been sold and was no longer available.
Naturally, my question was: why email me specifically telling me it was still available and the seller would proceed?
What makes this even stranger is that the Machine.si lander previously showed the seller as Seo.Domains. It has now been changed to “Verified Seller”, but clicking “Verified Seller” still takes you directly to Seo.Domains.
Based on my experience, I would personally avoid doing business with @Karakehayov or @get_fruits.
When you're dealing with domain transactions, especially after a platform confirms availability and you send payment, you expect the deal to be honoured or, at the very least, a clear explanation of what happened.

Decided.com is sold for $100k via LTO at @afternic The buyer has just paid the final five months of installment payments in one lump sum, the transaction is officially completed today.

The news has finally broke that @Shopify has acquired the Shop.com domain name! I learned about this deal several months ago at a very interesting cocktail party.
While I was not involved in the transaction, and because nobody directly involved is my source, I am going to tell you something that is not being reported:
The price was $100 Million!!! JUST the domain name.
That is the state of the market ladies and gentlemen.

Wow. Full circle. I sold Shop.com back in 2003. It became a very legit business for many years and now has its perfect home as a category defining AND exact match brand for Shopify. Kudos to the leadership team at Shopify for this massive strategic move #domains
