Binance began restoring withdrawals in phases at 06:00 UTC on November 1, 2026. By 12:36 UTC, withdrawals had resumed for all 15 networks and assets in the initial phase. After an initial spike, withdrawal volumes have declined and are stabilising as expected, while deposit volumes have remained substantial.
Between 06:00 and 15:30 UTC on November 1, we processed $4.649 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits, resulting in a net outflow of approximately $3.64 billion. This represents 2.1% of our $171 billion in total assets under management (AUM), based on the latest available Proof of Reserves (PoR) data as of October 28, 2026. A new PoR snapshot was taken at 00:00 UTC on October 31, and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) computation began. The updated report is expected to be available on our PoR website tomorrow.

Tokenization โ smart contract deployment.
Deployment is part of it, sure. But anyone who thinks tokenization ends with the deployment and the sale won't be around in a few years.
The value sits in what comes around it: orchestrating every regulated party and payment flow into one process. Servicing a security reliably over its entire lifetime. Reaching investors beyond the first round. Building markets where tokenized assets can actually trade. And letting them do more than just sit in a wallet.
That's the hard part. And it's the part worth building.

Listened to the conversation between Chancellor @bundeskanzler and @nvidia CEO @JensenHuang yesterday. It was mostly about AI, but this line fits tokenization just as well:
'There's nothing to regulate if the industry doesn't thrive.'
You can see this clearly with secondary markets for tokenized assets in Germany and Europe. Licensing costs can run into the millions, and approval processes can take years, all before the first transaction happens. Startups can't afford that. Only large incumbents can enter, and being able to afford a license doesn't mean building the best product. Innovation needs space to grow: within a controlled framework, yes, but a more open one.
I'm for clear guidelines and strong consumer protection. But clear rules should enable a market, not precede it. Give builders legal certainty, let the market get going, then refine where needed. Otherwise there's nothing left to protect, and Europe falls behind regions that offered clarity and more openness.

I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine.
