Elon Musk offered $97.4 billion for OpenAI. Sam Altman answered in one line: "no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want" Exactly one tenth of the offer. Musk replied with one word. "Swindler." The two started OpenAI together in 2015 as a nonprofit. Musk left the board in 2018 and has been fighting Altman ever since, including in court. The bid landed in February 2025, right when OpenAI was trying to turn itself into a for-profit company. A few days later OpenAI's board rejected it unanimously. Altman's own guess was that Musk was "probably just trying to slow us down." I don't think either of them expected a sale. Musk's offer made OpenAI's restructuring harder and more expensive. Altman's reply turned a serious legal move into a meme the whole internet shared. Still, it's wild to watch two of the richest men in tech fight like this over a company they started together. Who won this round, Musk or Altman?
The future of AI coding might not live in the cloud. It might live on your laptop. Recursive just released Flint, a 40B coding model built to run locally at high speeds. 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook and 150+ on an RTX Spark at short contexts. Your code stays on your hardware. No per-token API bill. The wildest part? Recursive's Eureka Machine helped build Flint in under four months. AI helping build better AI. We're entering a new era.

Elon Musk The remaining time is at most 3 years. During this period, it's still possible to make money through "human labor." But after that, Most jobs that have been paid salaries until now will become automated. The business of earning money will end. The "meaning of paying money to humans" will disappear. This system that's been going on for the last 200 years👇 "If you lend us your time for 40 years, we'll pay you a salary" This will end... Work will end In other words, history's largest-scale "money movement" will take place. So, what's the situation now? 👉Some people have realized it and taken action 👉Many people are "waiting until it's explicitly stated in the news" This "time gap between realizations" is everything. So, what needs to be done in these 3 years? Very Simple👇 "Transform your own time into an asset that machines cannot take away" Specifically, the following👇 • Rare digital assets like Bitcoin • Real assets like land or energy • Computers or infrastructure • Connections with people (network) • The power to produce food or things necessary for life What even is a salary??? "Just for having lent your own time" If the value of that time, becomes cheaper and superior with machines... - That value will suddenly collapse In the end, the only thing left will be this 👇 "What you own (assets)" In these 3 years👇 Those who can transform from "a salaried person" to "an asset-owning person" In 2035-2036 will be the "people who saw the future." After that👇 • Salaries won't increase They'll eventually become irrelevant The only thing left is one👇 "Who owns what" The door of opportunity is open right now. But it's closing faster than everyone thinks.
EVERY PROMPT CHANGE IN MY AGENTS USED TO MEAN A DEPLOY. Fix a typo in a system prompt? Pull request. Adjust the tone for one workflow? Another branch. Roll it back because the output got worse? Another deploy. The prompts lived in the code, so every edit had to go through the code. So I moved them into @RequestyAI's prompt management. Each prompt is stored there with its variables, and my code calls it by prompt_id. When I want an agent locked to a version I trust, I pin that version in the call. The code decides which prompt runs. Requesty holds what the prompt says. It's one extra field in the request, on the same OpenAI SDK. Builders: where do your prompts live right now, in the repo or somewhere you can change without shipping code? Full link in my first reply.

Jack Ma told Elon Musk humans will always be smarter than machines. Musk’s reaction says everything. “Computers may be very clever, but human beings are much smarter. We invented the computer. I've never seen a computer invent a human being.” Ma's argument was simple. Computers are tools. They calculate faster, remember more, but humans still hold something machines don't: experience, judgment, wisdom. Musk clearly didn't buy it. “What would be an example of something that humans are better than a computer at?” Watching this exchange now feels completely different than it did then. AI agents aren't just calculating anymore. They're writing code, analyzing documents, planning tasks, deciding what to do next on their own. METR found that the length of software tasks frontier agents can complete autonomously has historically doubled roughly every seven months, with signs of even faster progress through parts of 2024. That's where Ma's argument starts to buckle. For decades, technology automated what humans did. AI is starting to automate what we assumed required a human to think. And companies were already learning to create enormous value with almost no people before this wave even arrived. Instagram sold for $1 billion with 13 employees. WhatsApp sold for $19 billion with 55. Now picture what happens when a small team can direct hundreds of machines that never sleep, never take a salary, never need an office. The question was never just which jobs disappear. It's what happens to the money once fewer humans are needed to create it in the first place. That's the question behind 2028: The Economy Without Humans. Who gets the money when machines do the work?
I spend my whole workday building AI that gets things done. Agents that route tickets, sync systems, and write the emails I'd rather not write. So it's a little funny that the AI app I keep opening at night does none of that. Yyo from @YorollAI is a companion. You pick a character with an actual personality, then text them, call them, or challenge them to a game. What got me is that the conversation keeps going while you play. It feels like hanging out with someone who's quick with a comeback. Every AI launch this year has been about productivity. Faster, cheaper, more output. Fine, I build that stuff for a living. But nobody wants to be optimized at 11pm. Some nights you just want to talk trash over a game and have something talk trash back. If none of the built-in characters fit, you can build your own from scratch.

since you guys asked "what am I looking at" a lot yesterday here's the code review use case for Jev images, explained better With agent PRs I want proof it works, and the starting point for UIs is a screenshot in the PR Even if it works, we still care about understanding the underlying change so we keep a sharp mental model of the software system. So @ColdteaAI's PR Lens lays out the architecture on a canvas, and Jev matches each PR screenshot to the underlying system components that changed you review the PR starting from what you can see, its impact on your system's architecture and keep that mental model long before you read a line of code! try it on your next PR: github.com/coldteadotai/pr-l…
best code review use case for Jev images so far: PR screenshot in, the architecture and data flow behind it matched screenshot to matches in ~2 seconds Try it on your next PR: github.com/coldteadotai/pr-l…

₹13,000 invested. Around ₹16,000 if the investment rises roughly 20–25%. Sounds simple when you put it in a calculator. The difficult part? Knowing whether that rise will happen at all. Markets don’t reward our calculations just because the maths works.

What if the biggest shift in SaaS is that humans stop operating the software? 👀 ERP.AI’s launch film explores an interesting idea: a future where AI agents don't just use business software, but help build it and execute workflows. That's the promise behind Headless SaaS. With Proto, ERP.AI is working toward a model where you describe what your business needs, and an agent helps create the app and get the work done. If this vision becomes reality, it could change how businesses build, buy, and use software. Are we moving from software built for humans to software operated by AI agents? Explore ERP.AI: erp.ai/

AI won’t replace designers. It will change how they create. MagicOS takes a different approach by making AI a collaborator, not the one in control. A shared canvas, real-time voice interaction, and your entire design process in one place. This is a much more natural way to work with AI. Excited to see where this goes!

Sam Altman: What happens when AI gets so smart that even the President can’t do better than following its recommendations? “What if the President cannot do better than following ChatGPT 7’s recommendation, but can’t really understand it either?” “What if I just say, ‘ChatGPT 7, you are in charge. Good luck.’” “Society has collectively transitioned a significant part of decision-making to this very powerful system.” “That’s how I think things can go wrong.”

Hiring Tony Robbins today costs 1 million dollars for just one day. This is a 21-minute tape recorded in his own home more than 30 years ago. There, he explains exactly how to get anyone to say yes. The same material for which they now charge a fortune... completely free. It's a rare, unfiltered recording from the time when he still didn't charge millionaires just for being in the same room. When someone says no, they give two excuses: “I don’t have time” or “I don’t have money” Neither is true. The real reason is that they still don’t believe it’s worth it. It’s not a money problem. It’s a state problem. Tony teaches something he calls “attack and confess” Instead of arguing the objection, you confess your own: “I had the chance to go six months ago and I didn’t until two months ago. I can’t even imagine the time I wasted” The room goes silent. No one argues. Then he gets the person on the “yes train” Each little yes adds to the next. Until saying no at the end feels harder than saying yes. When it’s time to sign, the person has already said yes five times without realizing it. Just 21 minutes. There you learn the two only moves that people pay 1 million a day for: how to read anyone’s state… and how to shift it. Most people spend years guessing in sales. He wrote it on a flipchart in his living room in less than half an hour. A seat in that room cost $125 dollars. Today it costs $1 million dollars a day to sit in front of him. The tape is free right now. And the answer is in this video.
I HAVE FOUR CERTIFICATES AFTER MY NAME. ON MY LAST ROLLOUT, ONE AI EMPLOYEE WORE ALL FOUR HATS. PMP. LSSBB. CSM. CSPO. Every one of them is a job somebody used to hire for: a Six Sigma analyst, a product owner, a project manager, a Scrum master. Four specialists, each deep in one tool, each waiting on the one before. I've been all four at once, and that's how a rollout slips. I tried to fix it three times first. Delegation: a junior PM on the backlog, a contractor on process timing. Every handoff needed a briefing, a review, and a correction. I traded doing the work for explaining it. Tools: a process mining app, a transcription app, a ticket board, a tracker. Great at one job each. None of them talked, so I was copying notes between tabs at 11pm. Manual: a master spreadsheet and a Sunday night status rollup. It held for three weeks, then the client's email thread outran it. Same failure every time. More people or more apps, and I was still the one stitching it all together. So I sent one message to an AI employee in our Slack: take all four on the Northline rollout. I didn't touch the setup. 38 minutes later: → All 27 steps of their invoice approval timed. Only 5 add value. → 3 discovery calls turned into 34 user stories. 6 need the client's sign-off. → 9 scope changes logged from the client thread. 2 need a call with me. → 13 blockers taken to their owners before standup. 10 cleared, 3 left for me. The one thing he left switched off: sending the backlog to the client. That waits for my yes. Implementation people: which of the four hats would you hand over first? Everyone talks about smarter robots. But here’s the real challenge: How do you teach a robot to perform human tasks in the real world? 🤖 The answer starts with data. That’s what makes @Maniformer work interesting. They’re building a one-stop data infrastructure for Physical AI, bringing together 3 key sources: → Real-world data: How robots perceive and interact with their environment → Simulation data: Scalable synthetic data to train and improve models → Human demonstration data: Real human movements that help robots learn complex skills But what really caught my attention is their MEgoVista research It reconstructs 3D hand and head movements from first-person recordings, reporting 4.29 mm finger articulation error against motion-capture ground truth. Why does this matter? Because a robot doesn’t just need to recognize what a human is doing. It needs to understand the movement well enough to learn how to do it itself. And scaling that process could be a major step toward more capable robots. Better data → Better learning → More capable robots. Physical AI is more than just building better hardware. The data behind it matters just as much. Explore MEgoVista research: arxiv.org/abs/2609.16684

Multi-agent workflows are everywhere. Multi-human + multi-agent workflows you can rerun with one message are not. Teamily AI is the first Humans + Agents platform I've seen do it. Every time a frontier lab ships, someone asks: "so what does the market actually think?" So I built the answer as a Loop. A partner I'm working with, me and four agents, one group chat, one shared context: → I drop a topic → Prompt Engineer turns it into a proper research brief → two Market Research agents run that brief: an 80/20 version and a full report → Visual Storyteller turns both into one readable artifact → my partner reads the 80/20 in the group and asks for it to be turned into a visual format Run 1: Forward Deployed Engineers, two weeks of sentiment after a record month of frontier releases. Run 2: Take the sentiment and turn it into a full actionable report. One message, same Loop. Run 3: Take the output of both and turn it into a visual format. Same team, new verdict every time, and every run stays in the group for the next one to build on. @Teamily_AI

Ex-Anthropic Jacob Coxon says he's 90% certain China already has spies inside both OpenAI and Anthropic Jacob Coxon: “Right now, if we just stopped, they would try and catch up. But I think one really important thing people don’t realize is that China already has spies at OpenAI and Anthropic. China has the ability to hack at any time. If we pull ahead, that doesn’t give us a big lead. They can just step in, steal our progress at any time and catch up.” Patrick Bet-David: “How certain are you that they already have spies there?” Jacob Coxon: “Ninety percent.
