I’d just like to remind everyone that polling data is largely useless and the only data that matters is post-election.

The post-occupy Wall Street advertising landscape was so funny because suddenly every brand passed itself off an an underground revolution. “Join the movement at Nike dot com”

Chicago Fire is such a funny show because every day the fire station is in danger of closing down and every day they respond to the most insane fire scenario of all time
“You have to support animation!!”
It’s another movie for children.
Every single time.
I support animation by buying Suzan Pitt DVDs and watching independent animators. I don’t watch kids movies because I’m not a child.
The amount of TikToks I saw with 12 year olds saying they were mad the Key Jangler and the Crimbler entities and the “levels” weren’t in the movie were astounding.

Brightline is owned by a private equity firm which is owned by another private equity firm which is owned by the government of Abu Dhabi, and its rail line was owned by a Mexican corp so I don’t think it’s the barometer for how an American passenger rail company should be run.
I think in the future there will be multiple subsets of films. There will be “certified organic” films where no AI is used at all. There will be hybrid films where it’s a mix of both, and there will be entirely AI film.
The box office will determine which is superior.
It’s here. The first AI feature film to screen in theatres. The first AI feature film by a female filmmaker.
Not a collection of shorts. A feature film.
Not a studio. One woman with a laptop.
Not a paid PR campaign. An organic social movement.
I didn’t just make a film. We made history. Together.
Because I never for a second thought this was about me. It’s much much bigger than me.
The era of waiting for permission is over. I’m living proof. And that makes some people mad.
Because there are no gatekeepers where there are no gates.
BOSS (2026). Coming soon to a theatre near you.
Picking only 9 games was really hard, but these are the 9 that stuck out the most in my mind. Honorable mentions would be Killing Time on the Mac, Oblivion, Command and Conquer, and Traitor’s Gate.
I noticed that some of the options I picked showed a distinct heatspot on NW Georgia, which I thought was very funny because that's exactly where I'm from.
It's sometimes refreshing to see a typo in a tweet these days because then at least I know it wasn't spit out by some AI agent content farming for a random techbro in Atlanta.
Never in my life have I shed a tear at the passing of a celebrity, even ones I admired greatly. That changed today.

As the sun sets over our Tennessee mountain home, we're grateful for a supporter of the Smokies who has always carried these mountains in her heart. 🌄💛Thank you, Dolly, for sharing your love for the Great Smoky Mountains with the world.

Dolly was born in East Tennessee and used her success to make it better. So much money from her attractions and fame came into our mountain communities and was put into schools and infrastructure. She made the Imagination Library to help childhood literacy in Appalachia. Every month since our daughter was born, the library has sent her a book with a note from Dolly encouraging her to be proud of where she’s from and to learn the importance of the stories that built us. Her husband passed last year and she spoke of being reunited with him. I’m glad heaven is a little sweeter, and sings a little better for it. Rest in peace to the Queen of Appalachia, Jolene could never.
Just absolutely devastated to hear about Dolly’s passing.
She’s gone home to be with Carl and with her Savior.
Publishers will use this as a marketing gimmick to sell certified organic video games
The backlash against generative AI in video games may be starting to affect how games are made.
Some games have faced strong criticism after players found generative AI was used to create certain assets or content, in some cases, players refused to buy the games or left negative reviews.
According to games lawyer Haley MacLean, this reaction is also getting publishers’ attention.
Some publishing contracts now include rules that limit or completely ban generative AI during development.
