Okay, then. For my 250,000th tweet, an outtake from the glamorous photo session that yielded my imposing profile pic:

“The catalyst for ‘Don’t Give Up’ was a photograph I saw by Dorothea Lange (Migrant Mother), in the book ‘In This Proud Land’, which showed the dust-bowl conditions during the Great Depression in America. Without a climate of self-esteem it’s impossible to function” - pg

It’s not just that McConnell did not hold a hearing on a Supreme Court vacancy with nearly a year left in a presidential term, he completely shut down circuit court confirmations for Obama’s last two years. This is the McConnell rule, and there is no question Dems should apply it
Man, I KNOW there are a lot of Snowbird retirees from Wisconsin in the Tampa Bay area — my late Aunt Thelma, for instance — but DAMN is it weird to hear The Trop rocking like it's a Cheese Dome whenever the Brewers do something good.
It's a Brewers crowd in Tampa!

Given that every military intelligence operation in the world MUST monitor the WarThunder forums, I wonder when we'll find out that one of them has engineered leaks of FAKE classified weapons specs to throw opponents off and/or poison the well for any future REAL leaks

Walter Koenig made Star Trek history w/his voice cameo in the 2023 series finale of "Picard."
He didn't appear as Pavel Chekov; but rather President Anton Chekov, leader of the United Federation of Planets; the son of his original character.
The name was a tribute to Anton Yelchin, who'd died in 2016 and had played Chekov in the JJ Abrams films.
This made Walter the last of the original cast to appear in a Star Trek series.
