🚨NEWS: Pensioner who had cancer aged 71 jailed after turning rural home into cannabis farm
Mark Ayres from Attleborough in Norfolk started growing the drug to self medicate his cancer then expanded to 25 plants and 5.7 kilograms of dry marijuana worth £46,000 pounds before selling to others.
He was sentenced to three and a half years at Norwich Crown Court while his wife Marion aged 70 received a suspended sentence after admitting production for a limited period.
