Just to be clear, I am not leaving The Batman Part II. I am profoundly grateful to Steven for coming to my aid during this challenging time to help me finish principal photography. Thank you to all for your concern and well wishes. 🦇

thinking about matt sobbing when he added waters of march to the ending sequence of the film at 3 am and how both curt and bobby said it sucked but then he showed to jay and jay thought it was absolutely perfect

Everyone in this photo has contributed a lot to film culture. I know (and love) a few of them. But there were lots of great female film people there that night.

A message to the people in #70Up: we have grown up together, and I’ve always watched with fascination, but the current series fills me with such unspeakable joy and grief at the same time. Thank you. A true epic. I salute you x

I do think it’s funny that all the elderly directors are like “I have to use A.I. or I will get left behind” and then the 20 year old Backrooms guy is like “I just did it in Blender”

I watched Terminator 2 for the first time when I was like 10 years old. I found it on my Dad’s DVR recorder and hit play. Tonight I watched it in the cinema and T2 still reigns supreme as one of the greatest action movies of all time. It features an excellent array of set pieces and vehicular stunts. Films of this ilk are rare nowadays. The last one I can think of is Fury Road. Aside from the first major chase, one scene that has lingered in my memory ever since I was a kid is the judgement day sequence. It’s perhaps the most realistic and horrifying depiction of a nuclear explosion, and the immediate aftermath of it. It’s nightmarish.

An incredible night Since then the Welsh wrestling scene has became one of the hottest in Europe But currently NO WELSH Wrestler is signed to any major wrestling company Hoping this changes in the next few years, Wales deserves to be recognised like the other UK nations are.
On this Day in 2019: NXT UK TakeOver:Cardiff becomes the first WWE broadcast from Wales. On the night @MandrewsJunior + @Flash_Morgan won the NXT UK Tag Team Titles, becoming the first Welsh Wrestlers to hold WWE Gold. Follow us for more moments in Welsh Wrestling History 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Alex Lifeson turns 73 today, and he's still out there doing it. One of rock's most inventive guitarists, all texture, layers, and atmosphere. Here's his "La Villa Strangiato" solo from Rush's Fifty Something tour this year. Happy birthday, Alex.

The Backrooms A world where nostalgia and novelty attack you in the form of "art." I'm blown away. It reminds me of pseudo-3D games from the 2D era, back in the dawn of RPGs and the Family Computer (NES), before polygons and textures existed. Simulated 3D spaces built from looping, repetitive visuals: digital labyrinths unconstrained by the rules of architecture. I used to draw maps on graph paper just to keep track of where I was. That sense of confinement. That feeling of anxiety. Both are revived here in live action. The art direction is clever, incorporating elements of art, architecture, and psychology. This is a 21st-century liminal-space version of "CUBE," a work of surrealism and cubism in which video games of the 1980s and the modern world connect across dimensions.
