Carrick could lose xyz games and still have a better win percentage than amorim brigade every game week
🚨 JUST IN:
One of the main reasons Manchester United have decided to keep Michael Carrick is due to FINANCIAL reasons. Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the final decision after talks involving the Glazers, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox. Carrick could have the Chelsea, Roma and Aston Villa games. #MUFC [@SullyTalkz]
The club legend has the option to resign
Or has the option to grow a set and do what mourinho, Ronaldo and amorim did, hang the board out to dry and go out on his sword
Yet he says he's 100 percent the right man for the job. So beleive him and judge accordingly
It's game over!!
They gave Carrick the job because of the fans
They most definitely agreed to the documentary because they believed fans saying united would win the league under Carrick
And now they aren't sacking him because they heard fans applaud
Insanity
It did not go unnoticed by the #mufc front office that Michael Carrick received significant support from United fans during and after the defeat to Bournemouth [@RobDawsonESPN, @MarkOgden_]

🚨 Michael Carrick will be given chance to turn results around.
Carrick is taking training at Carrington, staff + players preparing #MUFC for Saturday trip to Chelsea.
More @TheAthleticFC soon.
It's really wild when you realise that we are where we are because 2 egomaniacs had a fight over horse jizz
This is an excellent reminder of how big a factor Ferguson's greed was in destroying Manchester United.

This is one of the negatives of the Ronaldo Messi rivalry
Prior to them, no one really thought much of the ballon dor as a legacy award
Then football became about these 2 and it's had a negative knock on effect on players as they seem to covet this more than team titles
And he's been betrayed by winning clubs who never bid for him, including not bothering to trigger his 50 million release clause 😂
Ppl see the holes he leaves in midfield, how desperately he keeps trying to rack up assists even when shorter passes are the smarter option and see his positionally challenged ass aimlessly running around over 90 mins
But some corners to casemiros head should have put him higher
Couldn't win an international trophy in his 20s but still got ballon dors
Couldn't win a European trophy in his 30s but still got ballon dors
Couldn't win either at 39 but still got put as a top 5 player
All because the media hates Ronaldo for posting pics of his cars
Neither does the best international player or whatever that they made up for Senor HGH in ligue 1 because he sucked so bad there, they had to make up an award to give him something
It's nothing to do with PR!! The epl has decided to be a hipster league filled with mid players because clubs want to stack up on system players and lots of depth
Haaland is the only superstar in the prem.. And guess what, he's made the top 10
This Ballon d’Or ranking is another reason to show that the EPL PR is currently low. The supposed best players in the EPL last season couldn’t even crack the top 10. Rice was 15th, the best player in the EPL last season was 27th, and Saliba and Gabriel couldn’t even crack the top 20. Yet, this is a team that reached the Champions League final.
Don’t know how to say it, but it’s a shame on the PR of the league. We keep hearing how the Premier League is the most competitive league in the world, how the quality is unmatched, and how every team is capable of beating anyone. But when it comes to individual recognition, suddenly the players aren’t good enough.
Look at how players from other leagues are marketed and celebrated. The Premier League has the money, the audience, and the global reach, yet it still struggles to give its best players the recognition their performances deserve. That was how Messi won the award over Haaland in 2023. it’s nonsense honestly.
They need to do better honestly.
Bruno Fernandes finishes 4th from bottom in the ballon dor ranking and they has him to oblivion
But let's see what these retards have to say about the last ballon dor winner for us
Aaaaaand it's worse than I thought
Another kick in the nuts for the trophies don't matter brigade
Ferran Torres has made a balon dor top 20 before Bruno Fernandes
Saudi is a league you go to when you've cemented your legacy in Europe and want to retire with a massive pay day
Anyone else who goes there is a mercenary
Bruno Fernandes accepting the move with an fa Cup would cement the fact he never cared about winning
I genuinely don't understand how anyone can question Bruno Fernandes' commitment to Manchester United after everything he's done for this club.
I love Bruno, so obviously I'm going to defend him, but this isn't even about being a fan. What more do people expect from the guy? When INEOS decided they weren't taking the wider staff to the FA Cup final because they wanted to cut costs, Bruno offered to pay for their tickets and hospitality himself. Just think about that for a minute. A club as big as Manchester United couldn't be bothered to pay for its own staff, and the captain had to step in with his own money. And this is the same guy who constantly gives his teammates credit in interviews instead of making everything about himself. Yet somehow, he's still the one whose loyalty people want to question.
He could have left in 2024. He could have left in 2025. He's had opportunities to leave in 2026 as well. Saudi clubs were reportedly offering him an absurd amount of money, and nobody would have blamed him if he'd decided he'd had enough. He's still playing at an elite level. He could have gone somewhere else, won trophies and stopped wasting his best years trying to drag United back to where we belong. But he stayed. He stayed because he wanted to win with Manchester United. And honestly, I don't know how much clearer he can make his intentions. This club has given him plenty of reasons to walk away, but somehow people still expect him to keep proving that he wants to be here.
What really pisses me off is that the moment he starts questioning the people running the club, suddenly he's the problem. Why? Because he's finally saying what so many of us have been saying for years? We've wasted ridiculous amounts of money on players who haven't worked out, changed managers, changed plans and started rebuilding all over again, and we're somehow still having the same conversations about investment and ambition. At what point do the people making these decisions actually take responsibility? Every time things go wrong, there's another excuse, another promise and another fresh start. Meanwhile, Bruno is still out there trying to make something happen on the pitch. And we're supposed to be angry with him for having had enough of the nonsense?
And don't even get me started on the Rooney, Scholes and Giggs comparisons. They stayed because we were competing for the biggest trophies every single season. We were winning leagues, challenging for the Champions League and giving our best players every reason to stay. Bruno hasn't had that. He's spent years at a club that keeps finding new ways to shoot itself in the foot. Do people genuinely think Rooney, Scholes or Giggs would look at United today and see the same club they played for? Or that a top player joining us now wouldn't start questioning his future after a couple of years of this? We've fallen so far behind that we're now arguing about whether our own captain is loyal enough, instead of asking why the club keeps failing him.
Look, Bruno isn't perfect. He has bad games, he gets frustrated and he can lose his head sometimes. I'm not going to pretend otherwise just because I'm a fan. But I'll defend him every single time someone tries to make him the villain for wanting this club to be better. He's turned down opportunities to leave, continued to give everything on the pitch and stuck around when he could quite easily have walked away. What have the people running this club done to deserve that loyalty from him?
Bruno has done his bit. He's done more than his bit, actually. I'm tired of watching people question his commitment while giving the people responsible for this mess yet another chance to get away with it. If Bruno Fernandes has to keep proving he loves Manchester United, what the hell are the people running Manchester United doing to prove they deserve him?
He's toxic and throws players under the bus, top reds said
No bitches!! He throws players who aren't working for the team under the bus
This is proper man management - ensuring the unsung heroes who didnt score or assist get recognized
This is my fucking manager!!
We've said the same thing - winning any match becomes irrelevant if the main goal of the competition - winning it isn't achieved
Bodied Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Brunos entire career
Milan fans acting like this just to get attention from the most retarded fanbase on this app - top reds, is just pathetically sad
Eddie Howe speny 8 years at Bournemouth and won nothing
Then spent 5 years at Newcastle and won a carabao cup
That carabao cup is the only trophy he's won in his career
By long term did you mean maybe give him 25 years or something?
