Do we have any update from law enforcement or the DSS on this individual and his collaborators? Are there any arrests? Is there any update on the investigation of his genocidal threats, or is he being protected by his friends in the Lagos State government? Will this matter also be swept under the carpet because of the people in power and the targeted population?

Amnesty International strongly condemns the brutal killing of renowned Islamic preacher Sheik Yahaya Masussuka who was killed today by gunmen on motorbikes as he stepped out of his house in Dutsin Ma Katsina state, to go for usual evening preaching.
The Nigerian authorities must immediately and effectively investigate the incident and ensure that those suspected of being responsible are brought to justice.
Sheik Yahaya Masussuka had consistently used his preaching to promote cooperation, peaceful coexistence, interfaith dialogue and understanding among Muslim faithful. He was also notable for preaching against violent extremism and radicalization.
The late Islamic cleric faced threats to life and intimidation — all through his life.

Vote & Mobilise for Peter Obi & Kwankwaso. #VoteNDC vote4obi.com/council.html
Peter Obi and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will not spend billions of naira on SUVs while millions of Nigerians are struggling with hunger and poverty. The fact that the APC cannot go a day without mentioning Obi's name in its political sermons suggests that the party recognises the strength of the PO/RMK movement. Nigerians, a great change is possible in Nigeria, and with your PVC, you can help make it happen.
CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW.
The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable.
President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence.
Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion.
We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK.
I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice.
We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights.
A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO

If You Have Competence and Energy to Serve, Come and Campaign - Obi
We can no longer accept people who are elected and not available. The president of Nigeria must be available at all times and must tour all over Nigeria.

To secure Nigeria, you need a leader with a heart of steel. You need a leader that will be firm and ready to step on toes.
I have interacted with Atiku Abubakar and he doesn't have such a character.
Among all the presidential candidates for the 2027 election, only PETER OBI possesses that character and therefore is the best among them in terms of securing Nigeria.
Peter Obi has also demonstrated that as the governor of Anambra state. When he came in as the governor of Anambra state, the security situation was terrible but Obi stepped on toes and solved the insecurity challenges.
— Captain Umar Babangida Aliyu (Captain Blade) Rtd.
Some retired military officers who have served this country at different levels have been speaking out about the solution to the insecurity in this country. They have said one thing which is the fact that our security challenges can only be solved by a leader with a strong political will to step on toes.
They have also boldly maintained that the only candidate who has demonstrated such a character is Peter Obi. They don't try to be politically correct instead they have all spoken boldly and fearlessly that only Peter Obi can guarantee security among all the presidential candidates.
This is one of the reasons why we support Peter Obi and why we say Peter Obi or Nothing. It's not based on emotions, tribe, religion or any primordial reason but purely based on facts that are verified.
Peter Obi is the best. Let's allow our best on the ballot to lead us.

What future for the Yoruba after Tinubu’s presidency?
At some point, whether in 2027 or in 2031, the Yoruba will face a future without President Bola Tinubu in power.
🧵
The drumbeats of Yoruba irredentism under the Buhari administration are now completely muted as a Yoruba presidency, with political connections, has suddenly given Sunday Igboho an incentive to keep his Yoruba Nation in Nigeria. But what’s utterly shocking is the conspiracy of silence and the attempts to muzzle opposition to Tinubu in Yorubaland. In a recent interview on Channels TV, Babafemi Ojudu, a former senator and former presidential adviser, laid bare the issue so powerfully. Indeed, it’s so powerful I would like to quote him verbatim. Hear him:
“From my corner of Nigeria where I am, if you want to speak up, people are abusing you, they are calling you “omo ale” (bastard), “akotileta” (renegade); they are saying you can’t speak against our own, even when the policies enunciated by our own is destroying your life. I never knew the Yoruba were like that. I think something has gone wrong with the Yoruba intelligentsia.
I didn’t know that things could play out like this. Suddenly, there are no groups with voices anymore in Yorubaland; the academics have gone quiet, the big pastors who were very vociferous in the past have gone quiet. This doesn’t say well of our people.” Of course, that’s tragic. But here’s the point.
A time will come when Tinubu will not be in power, and when a Yoruba won’t be president for another 20 years. A future president may reverse Tinubu’s “regionalisation”; a future president may not put Yoruba in strategic offices of state; a future president may even govern badly. What would the Yoruba do then? Would they suddenly regain their voice? Would they cry “marginalisation”, as they did under President Jonathan? Would they renew their separatist agitations as they did under President Buhari? What political credibility would they have left after their obsequiousness under Tinubu’s presidency? An interesting political future truly awaits the Yoruba!
