I like the book a lot. I especially appreciate the inclusion of things like St Michael's chaplet in it, and that's helpful to keep me further from online when I'm doing it. Fewer distractions when I can look at the paper, rather than having to go onto my computer for a collection of some things. I'll get around to printing out other things, eventually, to further that. The daily bits are nice, and pointed, but not too short as to not make you sit and think for a bit, when you go through them. I ordered a nice notebook today, to start using alongside this, so I don't fill up all the space on the pages, and can use this annually. If my brothers are interested, I'll see about ordering copies for both of them, too. Physically, it's nice to use, and the text is big enough to read nicely, while not too big. Orderly like a school workbook, in a good way. I'm very pleased with it.

Danny, Danny, Danny… It’s enough that you believe as you do. You don’t need to troll a Catholic post from someone who has opened herself up about what she is going through. Your pride is getting the better of you. Perhaps practice prudence and silence next time.

The translation by X (which I verified with Google Gemini) says Netanyahu declared the following: “In the last three years, through joint efforts, we have prevented the destruction of the Third Temple…Together, with the help of God, we will ensure the eternity of Israel.” Netanyahu seems to be equating the “Third Temple” with the State of Israel, which he speaks of as “eternal.” But we know who God identifies as His Third and truly “Eternal” Temple: His Son, Jesus Christ, and His Catholic Church, the New Israel spanning both Heaven and earth (which will one day be united), where Jew and Gentile are equal and have access to the Father in Him, through the Holy Spirit. These are completely incompatible theological claims. There is and can only be one Third Temple. Either Jesus Christ was a liar, or He was the Truth Incarnate. There is no third option. To propose another “Third Temple” is to call Jesus Christ a liar. The Fathers are unanimous in their understanding of Scripture: the Jews will initially receive Antichrist as a False Messiah, followed—thank God—by their conversion to Christ (likely via the preaching of Enoch and Elijah, or whoever the Two Witnesses are; my own theory being that the state of the Church and hierarchy will likely be so weak during the Passion of the Church that the Two Witnesses have to make up the difference to help the Jews convert). This False Messiah will undoubtedly at least OFFER to rebuild a “Third Temple” in Jerusalem, as one of his types—Julian the Apostate—tried to do in AD 363. We are no longer in the realm of “conspiracy theories” (a silly, obscurantist term to begin with). We get more and more hints about this agenda from a host of gradually unveiling facts, as well as straight from the mouth of Netanyahu, who has likewise said the State of Israel is the “Lion of Judah,” yet another title that belongs to Jesus Christ, the Son of David. Let those with ears, hear; and those with eyes, see.

Let’s remember that the @IndianaFever bench reviews EVERY play! So where was the outrage from the be ch in real time? Also, Boston literally stood there watching with her jaw dropped but did NOTHING to protect Clark! If ever a bench clearing was warranted, this was the time!

Did Christ stop speaking truth because it made people uncomfortable? Did He not give us an example? Truth is not hate. Truth is love. “Open rebuke is better than hidden love. Better are the wounds of a friend, than the deceitful kisses of an enemy.” (Prov. 27:5-6)

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas

Contrary to news reports, Pope Leo has not bestowed an exclusive special honor on the Iranian Ambassador to the Holy See. This decoration is given to all accredited ambassadors to the Holy See after 2+ years of service and has been standard practice for many years. It is a personal recognition and does not imply support or opposition to any policy or country. Thirteen ambassadors were recently given this recognition. Previous U.S. ambassadors have all received the same. Finally, the decoration was not given in person by the pope.

Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace

Absurd and inhuman violence is spreading ferociously through the sacred places of the Christian East, profaned by the blasphemy of war and the brutality of business, with no regard for people’s lives, which are considered at most collateral damage of self-interest. But no gain can be worth the life of the weakest, children, or families. No cause can justify the shedding of innocent blood.

Catholic just war doctrine, formally known as the just war tradition or just war theory within Catholic moral theology, establishes ethical criteria for determining when it is morally permissible for a legitimate authority to engage in armed conflict and for ensuring that such conflict is conducted justly. The doctrine is traditionally divided into two main categories: 1—Jus ad bellum, or the right to war, outlines the conditions required for legitimately resorting to armed force. These conditions include a just cause, such as responding to grave aggression or serious violation of rights; declaration by a legitimate public authority; right intention aimed at achieving peace and justice rather than vengeance or domination; exhaustion of all viable non-violent alternatives as a last resort; a reasonable prospect of success; and overall proportionality, whereby the anticipated benefits outweigh the expected harms. 2—Jus in bello, or right conduct in war, governs the actual prosecution of hostilities. It requires discrimination between combatants and non-combatants, prohibiting direct attacks on civilians; proportionality in each military action, ensuring that the advantage gained justifies the harm inflicted; forbidding the use of human shields; and due care through reasonable precautions to limit collateral damage. Rooted in Scripture, natural law, and the teachings of St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, and further articulated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the tradition affirms peace as the ultimate goal while permitting defensive force only under strict moral constraints. It actually serves as a framework for ethical evaluation rather than a simple checklist for justification.

CARDINAL PIZZABALLA AT THE HOLY SEPULCHRE ON EASTER SUNDAY: 'No people, no language, no history is excluded from this hope. If death has been conquered, then no life is “too lost” to be sought. Easter is universal because it is born in a specific, concrete, real place—here—and for this very reason it can truly reach the whole world.  This is not an abstract thought. We are standing in the place where the stone was rolled away, yet we know all too well that many stones remain sealed around us. Too many tombs have been dug again by hatred, violence, and retaliation. In this Holy Land, which is the mother of faith and has also become a land of constant conflict, the question resounds with dramatic force: “Where have you laid him?” For it seems that we place the Lord back in a tomb every time we believe that death has the final word over history, every time we resign ourselves to the logic of the enemy, every time we call an armed truce “peace” and the calculation of damage “justice.”  But Easter tells us this: the Risen One is not confined within our strategies for survival. He is a prisoner neither of our reasoning nor of our fears. He has already gone forth, and he goes before us'

Death is always lurking. We see it in violence, in the wounds of the world, in the cry of pain that rises from every corner because of the abuses that crush the weakest among us, because of the idolatry of profit that plunders the earth’s resources, because of the violence of war that kills and destroys. #Easter
