It is Pierre's job to keep you thinking that Carney is simply "out of touch".
It is not Pierre's job to inform you that Carney has been central to the international bureaucratic reorientation of the mechanisms and frameworks of global finance in order to align the entire world's economy with Agenda 2030, the Paris Agreement and Net Zero 2050, and usher in digital IDs and carbon tracking.

Waking up this morning to see people either celebrating or mourning the midterm results is a stark reminder of how deeply most of the electorate remains trapped in a manufactured spectacle. Politics is almost entirely performative. The red team and the blue team trade power as needed to advance the same underlying goals. None of what we are watching is organic.
We are kept inside the narrow confines of a left-versus-right dialectic that trains us to blame our neighbors for the failures of the system. As a result, we often hate one another more than we hate the structures that actually govern our lives. The two major parties do not oppose each other in any fundamental sense; they operate in tandem, staging conflict while implementing a shared agenda. The entire performance exists to sustain the illusion of participatory government among a population of debt-burdened wage earners, and thereby to preserve the consent of the governed.
That agenda is directed by a supranational power structure that sits above national governments and treats elected officials as instruments. Obsessing over the precise identities within this oligarchical class is a distraction that keeps people searching for villains instead of mechanisms. What is very clear is the method of control: the chains that bind modern populations are forged in monetary policy. The monopoly over credit creation is the central lever.
The only durable way to break that monopoly is to replace the present dishonest and dysfunctional financial system with one designed to serve the common interest of the citizenry rather than the interests of an international financial oligarchy. There is a better way.
