Fed Chair Warsh has run three FOMC meetings since taking over. $SPY closed red on all three.
June 17, his first meeting: -1.25%
July 29: -1.54%
September 16, the rate hike: -0.44%
The selling came after the 2 PM decision every time.
Now look at the next day.
June 18: +0.78%
July 30: +1.68%
September 17: +1.13%
Green all three times.
When he testified in front of Congress in July, the market didn't care. $SPY finished up both days, +0.36% on the 14th and +0.40% on the 15th.
FOMC number four is tomorrow. If the pattern holds, the dip after 2 PM could be the buy, not the panic.
Guys I’m a very nice person and I can read the room very well kind of like the market direction but once you cross me and I feel you’re jealous vibes coming at me hard, I will literally call you out so if you don’t wanna get embarrassed, I suggest you work on your pitiful life and figure out ways to improve it.
