I have put together every single screenshot I could find from the PMO documents where Carney has said “In a dangerous and divided world”
Every yellow highlight you see is him saying or using that line.
Out of 123 press releases, statements, videos & speeches he said it 146 times!
This is a high res jpeg, so you can zoom in and see each one.
I’d say him using that line on Canadians has gone too far.

Stop lying.
Debt is out of control and your government adding billions in costs it has no plan to pay for.
Future generations are being stuck with record carrying costs.
Canada's interest cost on debt is set to balloon from from $53B to $83B per year in just a few years.
The growth rate of the debt charges is absolutely reckless.
We passing the next generation not only record debt bill but also huge hard cost for previous generations' "free services" and no one cares.

Carney has known the EU has been planning to hit Canadian steel, iron and aluminum with carbon tariffs since December 2025.
He has spent the last year telling Canadians steel and aluminum manufactures will simply export more to the EU tariff free.
Fucking scumbag.

Hold on a second. Canadians have been told, for months, that a key tenet in the Prime Minister's whole trade strategy is "walk away from Washington, pivot to Europe". Now we find out his own officials told him in December 2025 that the pivot runs straight into a wall?
The EU's carbon tariff hits Canadian steel, iron and aluminum, the same metals already hit by U.S. tariffs. And even though, with great fanfare, the Prime Minister is forging ahead with some kind of "associate membership" for Canada in the EU, an exemption is "not currently possible." In other words, he sat on that detail for 10 months, until an access to information request forced it out days before he hosts the Canada-EU Summit.
So the plan is: turn down the August terms that were agreed then disagreed to in three days with the U.S., tell workers Europe is the answer, and quietly know Europe is putting up its own border charge. According to the @CBCNews report, that charge is close to $900M a year in exposure in Newfoundland and Labrador, $792M in Quebec, and adds up to $150 more per tonne of steel by 2034.
And recall that he weakened the carbon price in his Alberta deal while knowing that, with it, he made an EU exemption even harder to get.
What kind of diversification is it if you're trading one tariff wall for two and hoping nobody reads the memo?

The sheer irony of Carney calling Trump unpredictable! This from a man who treats Canadian sovereignty like a bargaining chip, announces billion dollar foreign commitments and lectures us about his grand new world order without explaining the fine print. Trump may be unpredictable, but at least he makes his intentions clear. With Carney, Canadians are left wondering what he’s negotiating, what he’s surrendering and whose interests he’s actually serving. The hypocrisy is staggering.

His government has been in court 12 years fighting for the right to share passwords and distribute creator content without paying. So, apparently our government is NOT subject to the Copyright Act.
Our democracy depends upon the basic idea that everyone is subject to our laws, including the governments who make them.
This demands that our courts operate independent of governments in order to serve the interests of citizens.

Carney flew to Ankara and signed a statement saying Canada and Turkey share "human rights, individual liberties, democracy and the rule of law." 🤦🏻♂️
8 days earlier, police raided Halk TV, one of the last opposition channels, cut the live feed and put a government trustee in charge.
Erdoğan's main rival, Istanbul's mayor, has been in jail since March 2025.
27 journalists locked up or awaiting trial.
A comedian got almost 19 months for calling Erdoğan a "shy dictator."
Over 100 people arrested in September raids on LGBT groups.
Osman Kavala, 8+ years in prison, despite Europe's own human rights court ordering him freed.
Asked if he raised any of it, Carney said those talks work better "not reported out in detail."
Trade with them if you want. Just don't pretend they share our values.
Values matter, eh? 🇨🇦

Carney’s “prudent banker” brand is dead. The PBO just showed the books are being cooked
Debt-service costs are now the fastest-growing federal expense: $25B five years ago → $59B this year (already larger than the Canada Health Transfer) → $83B in five years. Pure interest, paid before anything else
PBO Annette Ryan: the government’s fiscal “anchors” are “more like traffic lights.” Capital spending gets a green light; operating spending is a yellow at best. “Limited fiscal discipline. It’s not stopping spending.”
Real cash borrowing over five years: $733B. New debt from deficits: only $333B. The ~$400B gap is being parked with Crown corporations, loans and special funds—“a step removed from parliamentary oversight.” New risks, she said, and less transparency
The former Bank of Canada/Bank of England governor who once policed balance sheets is now redefining accounting so the headline targets stay pretty while the actual liability grows off-books. Taxpayers get stuck with the interest bill @PBO_DPB

Everyone at @CBCNews involved in this segment reaching the airwaves should be suspended: writers, editors, producer, newsreaders should be kept away from their desks pending an investigation by @CBCOmbud
You cannot hate @CBCRadioCanada enough.
CBC deliberately inverted the story
They opened with: “Israel has closed off the West Bank after Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians near Hebron.”
The actual sequence—that two armed men from Hebron drove up, got out of the car, and opened fire on the checkpoint, triggering a 20-minute gun battle in which the attackers were killed—was buried nearly two and a half minutes in. Only then did viewers learn about the large quantity of weapons and ammunition, Israeli officials saying the pair were planning a major attack on civilians, and Hamas praising the “high-impact operation” while calling for more violence.
BBC, CNN, The Washington Post, and The Times of Israel all led with the attack itself. CBC chose not to.
This is not neutral sequencing. Leading with the Israeli response while delaying the fact that the dead men initiated a terrorist attack is a classic framing choice that makes the aggressors look like victims—days before Israel’s election @brodiefenlon

Based on the public record, the draft communiqué for next week’s Montreal summit, and the numbers Ottawa itself publishes.
The Globe and Mail has the draft joint statement: Canada is to be treated as an “associate member” of the Union, with the full scope defined by the 2027 summit. Von der Leyen floated the label in Strasbourg while Carney sat in the chamber. Germany, France and at least six other capitals are already pushing back on the wording precisely because no one has locked what it actually binds. That is not a rumour. It is the file on the table one week before the summit.
Canada’s 2027–2029 immigration levels plan is legally due around 1 November. CMHC’s own assessment says we need 417,000 to 469,000 housing starts a year to keep pace; we are on track for roughly 231,000. Population stood at 41.8 million as of 1 July. Those are the capacity constraints already on the ledger before any new corridor with Brussels is even signed. Immigration that outruns housing, clinics and public consent is not a moral good. It is a measurable cost to the people already here.
The EU’s own operating system has treated arrival as the decisive fact for years: low return rates, secondary movement inside Schengen, and political refusal to treat capacity as a binding constraint. Ceuta this summer was not a Belarus operation. It was the same vulnerability with a different vector. Hostile states did not invent the open door; they walked through the one left ajar by policy. Architecture is not enforcement. Until the number of irregular arrivals who are actually returned moves, another framework is a press release. Rooms do not clear the queue. Removals do.
I have scored this sequence long enough to know what “optional,” “unique alliance,” and “deeper integration” produce when the exclusions page is blank. No free movement, no dynamic alignment, no unvoted contribution. Parliament keeps the controls. A handshake is not a chapter list. The test is whether the Montreal declaration names a counterparty, a dated housing number, and a hard exclusion on free movement and asylum jurisdiction, or whether it simply adds another layer of process while the capacity gap stays open.
Evidence over excuses.

Laura, did you actually read the article?
The Economist documents a decade of economic stagnation under the Liberals. GDP per capita grew just 4% compared with 23% in the US. Business investment increased 4.2% compared with 51% south of the border. Productivity has lagged, housing has become unaffordable and investment has suffered.
The article’s premise is that Trump’s actions may finally force Canada to confront problems our governments have ignored for years. It even acknowledges that many of Carney’s policies resemble Conservative proposals.
And about that “most educated country” claim. Education isn’t the same as intelligence. The latest OECD PISA results, released in September 2026, show Canadian students recorded their lowest scores ever in math, reading and science. Some 26% failed to meet minimum math proficiency and 22% fell below minimum reading proficiency. Both figures have deteriorated significantly over the past decade.
As for Carney being one of the world’s smartest economists, that’s your opinion, not a measurable achievement. Let’s see the economic results before declaring victory.
You’ve proven your elbozoness by not reading, or not understanding what is written in the article and turn an article documenting Canada’s economic failures into a Liberal victory lap.

Carney is exaggerating the numbers AGAIN!
* Asylum “down 70%”: Actual 2025 drop was 34% (114,500 vs 173,000 in 2024). The 69–70% only appears in early-2026 vs the 2024 peak
* Temporary foreign workers “down 60%”: True for Jan–Jul 2026 new arrivals vs 2024 (59%). Full-year 2025 was closer to 47%
* Students “down 80%”: True for Jan–Jul 2026 new arrivals vs 2024. Full-year 2025 was 61%
* Permanent residents “down more than 100,000… historically low… under 400,000”: Drop from the 2024 peak (483,640) to the 2026 target (380,000) is about 100,000. Not historically low (pre-2015 levels were often 250–300k). One-time programs add more outside the official target.
The temporary-arrival cuts from the peak are real. The percentages and “historically low” claim are inflated
Carney is paving the way for his Century Initiative pals, now inside his government, to ramp up the propaganda. The temporary pause isn't the immigration correction he is selling
