I talk about Undertale and Deltarune sometimes. I’m making my own take on Deltarune Chapters 3-7; you can check my pinned tweet if you’re interested!

I've decided to do a Master Thread of a bunch of the stuff I've done, starting with Deltarune: Our Power 🧵xitter.cf/RedactedAtlas/status/1…

i thought that being pixels would translate well to pumpkins face, but i am not completely convince. It was much harder than expected…
But anyway. Here is the sweetheart : mr Jackenstein!

In regards to the logistics of Kris’s deal with Seth, looking at the scene I think it’s simpler than it seems
The deal was non-specific “scratch my back I’ll scratch yours” Seth chose their prize in the moment. Kris had it for their own reasons (hence the blush)
Seeing all the Castle Town darkners support Susie for her date was really cute but it needed more Jackenstein

Deltarune Fell take where the seven flowers are inspired by the seven human magicians instead of the seven fallen humans

While I don't think this has anything to do with Rudy Knight I WILL say the whole "Rudolph was the guide through the cold blizzard" thing in the og Rudolph may come into play beyond what it already has for Rudy's character

I know a lot of folks are waiting until 1.0 to pick up Scarlet Hollow, but I do think that one of the things that makes the game special is getting to explore and discuss different routes before the full story is finished.
You'll see maybe 10-15% of the game on each run.
I have never seen this interaction omg Tabitha that first part is so dark I had to reread it to make sure I was interpreting it right
Another Deltarune criticism I have that might not be so popular is while the dialogue is generally good occasionally there will be a line that comes off as really clunky
I mostly contribute this to the fact the textboxes are super limited (trust me I’ve had to use them before)

While I do trust that Ch 5 will fit well into the overall structure of Deltarune I would be surprised if my main issue with Asgore was fixed by the end
Mainly because it already happened, it was resolved. I could like him as a whole more but that issue will remain
Current deltarune discourse is making me feel old because there is no way someone having a bad but harmless take is ever as serious as some people are acting like it is
Do I just not get it anymore. Ask me again when I’m retired
