Golic, is a little too obnoxious for me but i played well through high school, graduated early, went to spring camp at a d1 school but left the program to enlist in the army. The FBS Oversight Committee says in a statement that "instant replay protocols were not followed in the contest’s second-to-last play" in the Western Michigan-Michigan game, and "had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different."

Watching the power outage at SMU-Florida State, I had one experience with this. Doing play-by-play for a North Dakota boys high school basketball state playoff game, the power went out due to an ice storm. A generator got the lights back but nothing else. They kept score and time by hand, I was still able to call the game on my phone which was connected and fed through our station and sent out to the region. Had the game gone to OT, we’d have been in trouble because my phone died about three minutes after the game!
