Yo Ed Sheeran you’re a pussy and also fuck the Pats
Ed Sheeran has released a statement on Macklemore being removed from his tour for speaking up for Palestine: “Macklemore coming off tour was the promoter's decision, it was not mine. Macklemore's contract for the tour was with the promoter, not me. […] I am not complicit. I have my personal views on this devastating conflict. Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean I don't have them, and it doesn't mean I don't care. Nor does it mean I don't support causes in my own, personal way.”

Israel didn’t just “fire on a car”, the Red Cross told them 5-year-old Hind was in that car. IDF gave permission to an ambulance to enter the area, then ambushed & bombed that ambulance, shot 355 bullets at Hind’s car, prevented anyone from reaching her body for 12 days & lied about it for 2 years saying “we never even had troops in that area” despite satellite images & audio recordings proving they were lying!
The Israeli military acknowledged firing on a car carrying 5-year-old Hind Rajab in Gaza after earlier denials as it opens a criminal probe into the January 2024 killing. cnn.it/3U6I6jU

The only accurate part of Gad Saad's tweet below is that he has indeed been "explaining" this for years. The quote he references, from a 1974 speech at the United Nations by the late Algerian President Houari Boumediene (pictured), is however fabricated. Boumediene did not utter the words attributed to him. He delivered only one speech at the UN in 1974, and the transcript is available for verification. Falsehood and fabrication are in Saad's case a consistent pattern. It is how demagogues and charlatans operate. Saad’s fellow flunkies actually went through the trouble of inventing a lengthy quote for Boumediene, which Saad dutifully reproduces in full: "One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory." The fake Boumediene quote has been invoked by legions of far-right supremacists. It has, for example, also been published by that other charlatan, Douglas Murray. That would be the same Douglas Murray who comically invented an account that Idi Amin was the progenitor of the UN’s resolution determining that Zionism is rasicm, and devoted several pages of a book to this fiction. So how did this fake quote come about? I found the following on a Wikipedia Talk page: “I recently acted as a researcher for the book Fatal Misconception. The author, Matthew Connelly, sought to use that quote. I could not find a primary source anywhere, and I was working from the Library of Congress. The only UN conference given that year and the surrounding ones (at only one of which did Boumedienne speak) did not contain that quote in its minutes. If it was said, it was not on record. Indeed, the only places I could find as sources were white-supremacist web pages. They all contained the same quote and identical descriptions, indicating the quotes had come from a single source. I discovered this source was likely The Camp of the Saints, the racist anti-immigration book from 1973. I tried tracking down the information from the publisher to no avail. I, along with Professor Connelly, largely agreed that it was likely a fabrication. Given the date in the article, as 1974, and the publish date of 1973 for Camp of the Saints, where the quote first appeared, it seems unlikely that 1974 is the date it was said. So, I am removing it.” The individual who wrote the above words is identified only by an IP address. But in the Acknowledgements to Matthew Connelly’s Fatal Misconception: The Struggle to Control World Population (Harvard University Press, 2008), Connelly on p. 492 thanks his “research assistant, Matt Christiansen” and “[o]thers [who] assisted with translations or corrected my notes, including Nancy Davenport, Ed Fitzmaurice, Tim Jolis, Kerri Liming, and Cyrus Schayegh." I suspect the author of the above words is Christiansen, but could be one of the others. Next: Gad Saad discovers "family voting".

Israelis are probably the only people in the world - if you look at public opinion - who support this war. Which makes sense because it's a war for their country.

Congress did not declare war in Iraq and Afghanistan, it passed AUMFs which are legally and historically distinct. Scholars have noted that, “Congress issued its last official declaration of war during World War II” education.cfr.org/learn/reading/….

Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network. In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome. AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement. We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only. We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements. We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

New documents released from 1948 make the horror of the Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of Palestine completely clear. "There were operations in which the potential enemy was destroyed, meaning civilians. In Saffuriyya, Jish, Eilabun, Lod, and in the south on a larger scale. The intention was to expel. It is impossible to expel 114,000 people from the Galilee without terror, and there needed to be an initial element of terror so they would go."— Mordechai Maklef, operations officer in the north, later Chief of Staff "How do you expel a village? You cut off an ear in front of everyone from one of the Arabs and they all flee. No village was evacuated without stabbing one in the stomach or similar methods. We won only because of the fear the Arabs had, and they feared only because of acts that are not according to the law."— Maxim Cohen, commander of the Carmeli Brigade "The soldier, one of ours, an intellectual, one hundred percent reliable. He arrived at the village immediately after the conquest. There was no battle and no resistance. The first conquerors killed 80 to 100 Arabs, women and children. One commander ordered a sapper to put two elderly Arab women in a certain house and blow it up on top of them. One soldier boasted that he raped an Arab woman and then shot her. Another Arab woman with a newborn baby in her lap was put to work cleaning. For a day or two she worked in service, and finally they shot her and her baby." - Meir Afron, 89th Battalion Israel hid these atrocities for years. Buried in archives. It is now doing the same thing only at a greater scale. This is what Israel has always been.

The recently declassified documents published by Haaretz today - e.g. the orders by a Golani Brigade commander to 'shoot every 10th man' and murder all the Zabahim Arabs - should put an end to the "golden medium" theory of the Nakba promoted Benny Morris, a form of 'academic hasbara' which, due to Morris's eminence, has gotten a disturbing amount of currency. This was clearly - as Palestinians have said - a systematic ethnic cleansing policy, driven by systematic murders, massacres, and deliberate attacks on civilians.

You might think this is finally an honest headline from BBC about Israelis. It is not. It is still downplaying what actually happened. IDF didn't just shoot a 14 year old boy and watched him die. They created a cordon-off and actively prevented 2 ambulances from saving him.
