Summer is for building strain, finish, and movement habits.
Good OL drills don’t just wear players out - they teach body position and movement patterns that show up on Friday nights.
Great strain drill from Kris

The average high school head football coach stipend is around $7,000. Fluctuating heavily
For that, they’re expected to coach year-round, run a program, mentor kids, manage parents, recruit their own halls, fundraise, break down film, coordinate staffs, and be available almost 24/7.
Football coaches are grossly underpaid for what we ask of them.

Double teams are about vertical movement.
Pop the shoulder.
Play long.
Work up to the linebacker.
Versus the G, the guard cannot be in a hurry and get flat.
Brace step.
Then get vertical.
Stop penetration now, give the center time to get his hat over, and create the play-side space.

If 95% of your teammates are showing growth and development, and you’re not… don’t come complain to me.
You won’t like that conversation.
You get what you put into the weight room every single day. You can’t hide from the process. You can’t cheat the weight room.
Eventually, it will expose you!

Malik Nabers' reaction to the Cowboys trading up and drafting Caleb Downs 👀
Crazy profession. Garcia is a good dude, great coach.
Based on what my sources are saying it sounds like Kingsville simply pushed Garcia out...totally mystifying IMO considering the prior 4 seasons they won 5 total games.
KISD is F rated and KHS is D rated, seemed like football was the one thing going ok #txhsfb

Community helping community. One of my linemen blew out his shoe in workouts. I went to Academy to buy him a pair and asked if they could help with a small discount since it was coming out of my pocket. The manager ended up donating the shoes. Shoutout to Killeen Academy!

The Cowboys made a decision to not even SPEAK to Ben Johnson . That decision may go down as the dumbest one yet, in a miles long line of dumb dumbery.
