This story is not getting enough attention, even though it is a dark portent of the political repression on the horizon all around the NATO bloc.
Five activists who damaged an Elbit Systems site in Ulm, Germany, are facing harsher treatment than the Reichsbürger, a far-right group accused of attempting to overthrow the German state by force. The two trials are being held in the same building.
The Ulm5 are held in a maximum-security prison, marched into the courtroom in handcuffs, and seated behind bulletproof glass two meters tall. On day one, the judge switched off the microphones of the defence’s legal team, and has since repeatedly refused to hear their evidence and expert witnesses, while rejecting a motion for an independent stenographer to keep a record of the proceedings. The only written record of the trial is the judge's.
Meanwhile, the Ulm5 all remain in prolonged detention — with stints in solitary confinement. The prosecution is seeking to argue that the attack was antisemitic in nature, as Elbit Systems is a “Jewish-owned company” and therefore the “baby killers” graffiti drawn by the activists amounts to blood libel.
The case sets a chilling precedent for any actions taken against German militarism, and no doubt forms part of a wider arc of repression that now extends from Britain to Italy. That is why the activists’ call for international solidarity and support is so urgent.
In a show-trial riddled with procedural irregularities, Germany is seeking to make an example of five activists who organized against the genocide in Gaza. buff.ly/i46zuHe

it’s perfect. Sublime. Every word is in exactly the right place, to move one would be to tear down the harmony. These… are first drafts?

How can Jordan be such a tight ship against Palestine organizing and so leaky for mass shootings?

This becomes abundantly clear when you read in depth studies of the Paris attackers and really all French + Benelux foreign fighters. They were usually total lowlifes in their own communities before "finding God."

There was a moment during this, forgotten now, where everything hung in the balance. So many safes, databases, lockboxes and god knows what else were cleaned out, cos the people really were in revolt. And then nothing happened. But it still could, is the thing. And They know that

In their files, Obama’s FBI referred to Seals as “a self-described revolutionary who has espoused somewhat militant rhetoric”. It’s fuckin crazy that they have over 900 pages on Seals, but around 860 of those pages were fully redacted.

Mississippi is one of those places that deeply need progressive police reform, not in any 21st century sense, but in like, the 1910s sense of "No, you can't just staff the local police with your inbred drunkard dimwit hick cousins, they also have to be at least semi-literate too"
Mississippi's attorney general says a Senatobia police officer was justified in the June shooting death of a 1-year-old boy while responding to a shoplifting call. The conclusion of the state's investigation follows months of mourning and calls for justice. cnn.it/4z0O5X6

Share this and tell folks to study it. This is a common tactic employed by the reactionary forces of the state to try and discredit protest movements everywhere.

The implication of all this cretinous reporting is that Israel should've completely strangled Gaza and prevented the entry of any money whatsoever.
1/8 The new TIME investigation turns Israel’s global info op about “Qatari money in Gaza” on its head.
Israel was not a passive observer. Netanyahu’s government actively facilitated a programme that channelled nearly $2 billion in assistance into Hamas-governed Gaza over more than a decade
