How you respond to the Nazi tattoo candidate is how you would have responded to "grab them by the pussy" if you were a Republican.
Democrats have spent the last ten+ years bemoaning the evilness of Republicans who acknowledge Trump's flaws, but support him anyway because "the alternative [ie, the other side being in power] is worse." Then along comes misogynistic racist Nazi tattoo guy, and every single Democratic politician is obligated by the base to support him because... drumroll.... "the alternative [ie, the other side being in power] is worse."

In much the same way I'm sure there are lots of women who would endure lots of shit if the husband was rich, there's a lot of things about California that you can't get living anywhere else and i'd be tempted to call the billionaire's bluff on this
Why would a woman leave a perfectly good marriage after being strangled only one time?
I’m not apologetic about this: minimum wage should be enough to enjoy your life. I studied a liberal arts course and owe $40,000 in student loans. I applied for jobs but didn’t get a single offer, despite graduating with a good bachelor’s degree. I decided to work in a coffee shop until I can find a good job, or I risk getting deported. But apparently, $3,000 per month, tips included, can barely cover your rent and utilities in a city people call the best in the world. 🤦‍♀️ So you’re telling me my life is just work, pay bills, and sleep? I can’t go to concerts, hang out with my friends, or travel? And meanwhile, people are becoming trillionaires? This is not okay.

I actually felt really awkward the last time I saw the mummies at the British Museum because it made me sad that I was gawping at someone who had a whole life and now is just splayed out to be stared at by school trips and fat tourists. But god this is so fucking annoying.
"Gosh, why are the mummy displays so dark and opaque? Must be the lights are broken. I should go tell them downstairs," I thought to myself while recently wandering around the Redpath Museum at McGill University. Then I read the sign. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Yes Chuck, one lesson you should take from the last 20 years is that the right of center coalition is not going to become a national pariah pretty much no matter what, so it's rather important that it be controlled by sane people with at least a commitment to democracy.
Leftists dream of a more effective Democratic party. Democrats dream of a more effective Republican party.

Is it a "revolving door"-type conflict of interest that this campaign to block permitting reform in order to preserve more litigation opportunities is sponsored by a plaintiff's law firm that makes money by bringing these suits?
MARK IT DOWN: The New Mexico Democratic primary in 2028 will be won by an opponent of BAAJA. 106strong.com/

This is a joke right?
Why are women advised to "give the nice unattractive guy a chance" but men are never advised to "give the nice unattractive girl a chance"?

America did not dodge a bullet. America was pretty squarely hit by a bullet which tanked global opinion and soft power, strained relationships with allies, delayed economic growth, punched science in the face, tore families apart, exacerbated wars and has fought against the buildout of renewables while simultaneously clawing away more land for oil. One can go on and on for hours. America was hit by the bullet, it just hasn’t died.
honestly it is truly amazing that America dodged such a bullet because Trump had a strong governing majority across all three branches of government and was totally uninterested in using it to permanently alter our laws beyond one major bill

I think if you took someone out of 1997 and dropped them directly into like 2023 they'd be exponentially more surprised by Howard Stern's evolution than by Donald Trump.p getting elected President.
This can’t of actually been a thing

Needs a bit of clarification on how close the "friend" is I guess. It would be weird to be very close friends with someone you wouldn't believe if they denied this.
A woman accuses a friend of yours of rape. How do you as a man react? Concern for her, concern for him, or both?

A lot of music snobs really can't wrap their heads around the idea that "writing songs that appeal to mass audiences" is the most important skill to have to be a successful writer of popular music.
Replying to @pretty__ric
like her rise to superstardom is baffling to me and i enjoyed her music in the 2010s!!! if she wasn’t a beautiful white woman……… she would not be as accomplished. but her fans are also actual sycophants and have been blowing smoke up her ass since like 2012

My a mile, the most common manifestation of "more income, less money" is means-tested government benefits. Means-tested benefits work the way some people claim tax brackets do.
The way this could theoretically work is if before the raise you were making such little money that you could opt out if withholding without owing tax at the end

This is literally what happened to me. I will not explain further. It’s none of your fucking business. Fuck you.

I only ever had an employer try to deny me PTO one time. I reminded them that I had like 3 standing offers to join competitors any time I wanted to and that was the end of that. 😂
Don’t make plans until your time off is approved. People are so entitled.

OK, so that Irish ‘get consent for family hugs’ ad. I despair. Yeah, it’s possible that sometimes a hug is not wanted. But these campaigns are teaching people to treat normal everyday human interactions through the lens of potential abuse. And that’s really not healthy.

They aren't though. Most of this neuroticism is because they know that Dworkin's take on intercourse was a dead end, but it's increasingly difficult to maintain the feminist concept of rape (an act of oppression as opposed to criminal violence) without it.
Feminists are this close to saying that all sexual intercourse is inherently rape because women are on the receptive end.

taylor swift’s horrendous vocals from her performance on the 2010 grammys when she was 20 years old are ressurfacing on the internet

This is why the GOP might seriously play with the idea of running Trump for a 3rd term
Trumps poltiical super power was getting moronic non voters into poltiics. For them to go back to being non voters and leaving politics to adults again is probably the best we can hope for

The fact that you have someone watching a *dragging pivot foot* in slow motion and still not getting it is peak NBA rule ignorance.
Just cause it looks different than you are used to, doesn't make it a travel. He keeps in constant contact with the floor with his pivot foot (left), pivots, and steps through Clean on every level of basketball

It's almost as if the adversarial system requirement for lawyers to advocate for their clients as far as possible both warps their souls and leads to injustices The common law trial is the barristar's equivalent to trial by combat with the sword and spear replaced by cunning
