Let’s goooo! Best teammate to have out there @tylerkloucek2
Dakota Valley Junior Tyler Kloucek is this week’s South Dakota Riddell Player of the Week for 11-Man Football.
“Tyler has been the heartbeat of our football program all year long. He plays with relentless effort and a spirit that is tough to match. His attitude and effort every day at practice is infectious and bleeds into everyone around him, coaches included. He pushes our younger players and coaches them up during individual periods without his coaches asking him to do so.
Tyler also excels in the classroom and is a role model for our Purple Panthers youth football program. I think there are few players in the state that have excelled on the field at the level that Tyler has in all 3 phases of the game.”
Tylers efforts last week led to 6 Rec. 104 yds. 1 TD / 4 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1 Int. , 1 PR for 33 yds.” -Shane Ladage Dakota Valley HC
Honorable Mentions: Zhoel Irion (Sturgis Brown), Aiden Schrempp (Canton), Braylon Erickson (Sioux Falls Jefferson)

Bob Chesney on the everyday work of building a program’s culture.
“If I just sit at my desk and talk to no one and go on the field and stand in the corner and do nothing, it's really hard to identify if I'm building that culture and that environment or not.”
A great speech on Saturday can help your team, but your team’s identity takes shape in how you show up Monday through Friday.
Your players learn what matters through their daily experience of being coached by you.
Give them a message worth hearing AND give them evidence of it throughout the week.

Every Friday night, coaches prepare their players for the moments that matter. But the learning doesn’t stop at kickoff.
There are millions of impacts every fall. What are you missing?

Yankton Junior Jackson Kudera is this week’s South Dakota Riddell Player of the Week for 11-Man Football.
"Jack is a driven competitor who leads with exceptional play and has a relentless drive that pushes his teammates to improve. He embraces a team first mentality from the quarterback position, consistently giving praise to his offensive line, running backs, and receivers before accepting any recognition for himself. He is a consummate competitor who stays dialed in and focused on improving every snap. Jack is a multi sport athlete who competes for Yankton year round and serves as a great example to younger athletes both in and out of the classroom and throughout the community.
