The close-to-poetic irony of a man who literally assaulted hundreds of protesters for daring to challenge the illiberal policy of his ruling party now moaning about democratic suppression #FreeSpeech
I always vote on the first day. Today is the first day of voting so I went to the Wainuiomata advance voting place at the hall. It is closed. A disgrace. Along with early roll closing it is looking like the voter suppression you expect from Trump or Hungary not here in Aotearoa.

An Open Letter to the University of Sydney @Sydney_Uni @mscott Regarding the appointment of Jacinda Ardern as Professor of Practice Dear Professor Scott, I read with absolute disgust that the University of Sydney has appointed Jacinda Ardern as Professor of Practice, where she will apparently be sharing her wisdom on empathetic leadership, social cohesion and civic trust. You cannot be serious. You are quoted as saying: "Dame Jacinda led New Zealand through events of profound consequence and her leadership demonstrated that empathy and resolve do not compete with one another; each can strengthen the other." Appointing Jacinda Ardern to teach social cohesion is rather like appointing Jeffrey Dahmer to teach a course on wellbeing, or Jimmy Savile to run the local daycare centre. The sheer absurdity would almost be funny if the consequences of her leadership weren't so hideously tragic. My name is Alia Bland. I am a co-founder of Voices for Freedom, an organisation established in New Zealand in 2020. For years, we stood alongside tens of thousands of ordinary Kiwis whose lives were torn apart by the policies of Ardern's government. While the international media fawned over her kindness and compassion, we were dealing with the wreckage. At the height of the COVID response, we were receiving upwards of 1,000 emails a day. Desperate people reaching out because they had lost their jobs, their incomes, their homes and, in many cases, their will to live. People nearing retirement were forced to sell family homes they had spent decades paying off. Some are still living in caravans five years later. Marriages collapsed. Families fractured. Lifelong friendships were destroyed. People who had served their communities for decades were suddenly treated like lepers because they declined a medical procedure. Some of the people who came to us had spent their entire lives believing New Zealand was a decent, fair-minded country. Watching that belief crumble, and seeing what it did to them, was heartbreaking. I cannot adequately describe the anguish in those emails. The desperation of parents wondering how they would feed and house their families. The humiliation of hardworking people being marched out of professions they loved. The despair of people who had done everything society asked of them, only to discover that their own government considered them disposable. And presiding over it all was Jacinda Ardern, smiling for the cameras and telling the world how kind New Zealand was. Kind? For whom? Her government deliberately created a two-class society. Ardern herself acknowledged it publicly. New Zealanders were excluded from workplaces, businesses, events and ordinary social life. People were coerced into accepting a medical intervention under threat of losing their livelihoods. And those who suffered adverse reactions to the COVID vaccines faced another nightmare. We fought for vaccine-injured New Zealanders whose lives had been devastated by serious physical harm, while many struggled to have their injuries acknowledged or receive adequate support. The government's public assurances about vaccine safety deserve particular scrutiny. Officials knew about the myocarditis risk, including among young people. We have examined the records. Yet people raising legitimate questions about those risks were routinely dismissed and vilified. The damage went far beyond lost incomes and broken relationships. An enormous number of New Zealanders lost faith in the very institutions they had trusted their entire lives. Government, health authorities, education, police and the media. That trust has not magically returned because Ardern has moved on to more prestigious surroundings. While her government was busy marginalising people, we were building a nationwide support network to help them survive. Voices for Freedom grew to more than 100,000 people on our mailing list, many representing entire families. More than 45,000 people signed up to our local groups across the country, which are still operational today in 2026. We established industry groups to help people fight for their careers, provided support through employment disputes and legal challenges, organised practical assistance and hand-delivered millions of flyers to households throughout New Zealand. We did this while facing censorship, public vilification and government surveillance. Official records obtained since have confirmed that our activities and communications were being monitored and reported on. Our volunteers gave everything they could to help people who had been abandoned by the institutions meant to protect them. And now the University of Sydney wants to hold up the woman responsible for overseeing this period as a shining example of empathy and social cohesion? It is sickening. Professor Scott, did anyone at your university bother to speak with the people whose lives were destroyed under Ardern's leadership before celebrating her appointment? Have you spoken to the former nurses, teachers and police officers who lost their careers? The families who lost their homes? The people still suffering from vaccine injuries? The parents whose children no longer speak to them? Or did you simply swallow the carefully cultivated international image of Saint Jacinda, the compassionate leader who saved New Zealand? I wonder whether you have considered why this internationally celebrated former prime minister now lives in Australia rather than the country she once led. The depth of hostility towards her among many New Zealanders should give you pause. Because I can assure you, there is another side to that story. And there are hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders who live with the consequences. I have no objection to universities studying Ardern's leadership. In fact, I would encourage it. There is an enormous amount to learn from what happened in New Zealand between 2021 and 2023. Like, what not to do... But presenting her as someone uniquely qualified to teach empathy, social cohesion and civic trust, without acknowledging the extraordinary human suffering that occurred under her leadership, is an insult to the people who paid the price. We were there, Professor Scott. We saw what happened. We picked up the pieces. We are still picking them up. Some of those people will never recover what they lost. And the woman who presided over it all gets a professorship in empathy. What an absolute disgrace. Yours sincerely, Alia Bland Co-founder, Voices for Freedom New Zealand

When there are 100,000's people injured by the COVID jab - and their families, everyone knows someone...... you'd think some of the main parties would at least answer some questions? None of them bothered. They do not want this in the conversation.
WHERE DO THE PARTIES STAND? Only one party took the time to answer our Election 2026 questionnaire: the NZ Outdoors & Freedom Party. Thank you. For every other party that sat in the last Parliament, THE+TRIBUTE has gone through their published policies, statements and public record to build this resource — mapping where they land on the issues we care about and want addressed. @NZNationalParty @nzlabour @NZGreens @actparty @nzfirst @Maori_Party @FreedomDotKiwi #TheTributeNZ

Oh no - look it's not "the noose" anymore, but a cardboard effigy getting abused by the "far-left". Looking forward to seeing the dozens of editorials; international reports; two to three taxpayer funded documentaries; podcasts; and alleged journalists forever bringing up this terrible fringe response as representative of the whole (@secondzeit); and, most of all, all these "far-left" people having their issues and concerns ignored completely - because "the violent threats." #heartoftheprotest #oxygenofamplification
Nothing says “we’re the compassionate, tolerant ones” like a bunch of grown adults gleefully beating the shit out of a cardboard cutout of the PM’s head. It’s pathetic. But more disturbing is how quickly political violence (or fantasies of it) get rationalised when the target is someone the activist left has decided deserves it. Apparently violence is bad, UNLESS you’re very righteous and your politics are “correct.” Then it’s “satire”, “protest” or “political theatre”. Normal people look at this and think: what a bunch of fucking weirdos.

#BREAKING: New Zealand media repeatedly elevated Byron Clark as an expert on extremism, but one of his own characterisations has now collapsed under legal challenge, ending in a public apology from Clark and HarperCollins. I spoke to @HelenHoughtonC about her win.

We were alerted to Clarke's work by Anke Richter (founder of the cult Fact Aotearoa). She said we must look him up because he knows all about the Parliament protesters. He called the mandated workers, and civil liberty and medical freedom protestors "alt-right insurrectionists manifesting wild and dangerous disinformation." Upon investigation of his other work, we discovered he was a candidate for the Mao-inspired Communist Workers Party, advocating for a revolutionary socialist mass movement in NZ like those in South Asia that have killed thousands of people. We kindly, never called him "dangerous far left". Page 246. Heart of the Protest @RiverFreedom22

We call for Graham Le Gros, Helen Petousis-Harris and Stuff to publicly apologize to Casey, just as they publicly vilified her in 2021.
In September 2021, just one mRNA jab changed Casey Hodgkinson forever. She was only 23. Within an hour, severe symptoms hit: spasms, unbearable pain, collapse. What followed was years of agony — seizures, hospital dismissals, gaslighting, media smears and repeated ACC denials. 💡 Casey was publicly vilified by vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris from @AucklandUni and immunologist Graham Le Gros from Malaghan Institute of Medical Research who said she was a "fraud" within a @Stuff article by journalist Nathan Morton. The opinions of Helen and Graham and the Stuff article are in fact examples of the real meaning of the word #Disinformation - the 'news' report was entirely false, inaccurate and manipulated - it was deliberately published by Stuff to influence public opinion, and ... most importantly, it CAUSED HARM. Casey was harmed by the assault on her lived truth: her injury was instigated by a puncture wound to her vascular system during incorrect administration of the vaccine, leading to a cascade of other diseases. @TheTributeNZ have reached out to all of the above named individuals and the companies they work for, as well as Stuffs editoseeking a public apology for Casey. They have yet to respond. WATCH CASEY'S FULL STORY - an emotional testimony of loss, betrayal, forgiveness and hope. From a vibrant young woman to now learning to love her limited life, she shares very wise lessons, well beyond her age ... about patience, resilience, faith and never giving up when the system terribly fails you. #thetributenz #vaccineinjury #keepfightingspirit

Looks like I have a folder on Dr Disinformations dastardly desktop. I take comfort in knowing that this derogatory post, on his sad Blusky account, is his most engaged with in months. 🤣... A post about how he bravely blocked @TheTributeNZ ... Vaccine injury testimonies. How sad is he? His relevance depends on talking about us, while he blocks, shames and ignores truth. Pity he never actually talked WITH us. Anyhoo, there's a paragraph about him in the book #heartoftheprotest That's about enough. #thedisinformationproject

Jacinda Ardern, Chris Hipkins, Ayesha Verrall and Ashley Bloomfield knew the Covid Vaccine can cause potentially fatal Myocarditis. Yet they kept it from us whilst 311,257 teenagers got the second shot. This is a criminal act I cannot believe they still walk amongst us.

Criminal prosecutions still possible. Gross negligence for not actioning the Alert Communication. The heads of the vaccine roll-out should roll.
Monique, from Christchurch, was Injured in June 2021, In the Gap Between What Medsafe Knew & What New Zealanders Were Told Inbetween the Monitoring and ALERT Communication... 21 JULY 2021. WARNING! Myocarditis and pericarditis are known side effects of the Pfizer vaccine. But even after Medsafe alerted vaccinators to the risk, Vaccinators failed to give clear, explicit warnings to vaccine recipients, meaning most New Zealanders were never informed of the myocarditis and pericarditis risk BEFORE, and denied informed consent. Who is responsible? Those leading each DHB's vaccine roll-out for not actioning the Alert? YES. The ring-in vaccinators? YES. Ministry of Health. YES. Medsafe. YES. WATCH the Trailer for Monique's story - Injured in the Gap Between What Medsafe Knew & What New Zealanders Were Told - Full story coming THIS SUNDAY. Monique was a fit and active 24-year-old, enjoying her new job as a health professional at an aged-care provider. She describes the internal employer mandate leading to her second damaging Pfizer dose on 11 June 2021 - two days after Medsafe published a Monitoring Communication to health professionals about the potential risk of myocarditis and pericarditis with the Pfizer vaccine. She was severely injured - eventually leading to a diagnosis of chronic recurring pericarditis, POTS and dysautonomia. “I was actually shocked to hear that, given I was not informed of the cardiac risk—despite the government knowing.” Monique was dismissed by the New Zealand health system - leading to her seeking ongoing cardiology care in Australia. THE+TRIBUTE have reached out to the Ministry of Health for comment. Please FOLLOW. Please SHARE! #thetributenz
