There is a growing trend where Black people are openly saying they don’t want to be around other Black people and Black culture, they say they want to live around White people “I'm so happy that other Blacks are coming online speaking out against Black fatigue” “I'm so glad that everybody, including other Black people, is speaking up about how we're tired of n*ggas — and then the fact that the n*ggas want to come at Black people and say, — “Oh, you guys are just trying to get closer to whi- white proximity." Mind you, what is white proximity? You mean me trying to stay in areas that's clean, kept up, where people are nice and decent, where it's not loud, me choosing to be in areas where I don't have to deal with unwanted n*ggarish activity, you mean me being around people who actually have manners and who are well-behaved” “Everyone is sick of it. Like, everyone is f*cking sick of you n*ggas.” This woman is right there is growing black fatigue online and there is a real difference in crime rates in black majority neighborhoods vs white majority neighborhoods You are 500%+ more likely to be a victim of violent crime in black neighborhood compared to white neighborhoods In 2000 the average violent crime rates were 5 times higher in predominantly African American neighborhoods than in White neighborhoods From 2010–2013, African American neighborhoods averaged 8.5 violent crimes per 1,000 residents versus 1.4 in White neighborhoods, about 6 times higher (600% higher) What’s even crazier, 90% of African American neighborhoods had higher violent crime than nearly all White neighborhoods This is real data Even among middle class neighborhoods of similar socioeconomic status, majority Black areas had more than 4x the gun homicide rate of majority White areas This shows its not an income issue, even with similar incomes and status black neighborhoods are still 400% more violent Pretty insane
