Unbelievably, Reform UK councillor George Madgwick has shared this video on his socials, endorsing the people screaming and swearing at migrants who have been rescued from the Channel. No matter where you stand on migration, these vile taunts should not be celebrated.

Badenoch has admitted the Tories haven’t assessed how many children could be made homeless by their plans.
They spent 14 years failing to fund defence while allowing welfare to soar, but now want vulnerable children to pay the price for their failure.

We're proud of the lifesaving work our volunteers do in the Channel – we make no apology for it. Those we rescue are vulnerable people in danger & distress. Each of them is someone’s father, mother, son or daughter - every life is precious. This is why we launch:

Getting mental health support should not mean waiting months – or reaching crisis point before support is available.

No amount of headline-chasing, or following Reform to the extremes, can conceal the damage the Tories did to housing in this country.
People without ILR are already ineligible for social housing, so the Tories are targeting refugees and long-term UK residents who have contributed to this country but are not British citizens, including NHS staff.
It would leave more families at risk of homelessness, while driving up the use of temporary accommodation at taxpayers’ expense.
This unserious, unworkable proposal, copied from Reform, would do nothing to tackle the housing crisis the Tories themselves created.

People without ILR are not all ineligible for social housing. Refugees and those with humanitarian protection typically have limited leave but are eligible under current rules.

Reform UK are up to their neck in scandal.
Serious new information has come to light, opening up yet more questions about donations made by George Cottrell and his associates. Frankly, it stinks.
I've written to the Electoral Commission to draw it to their attention.

For too long, the cost of everyday life has grown and grown with seemingly no end in sight.
That’s why the Government is capping bus fares at £2 from January 2027 until the end of the year, giving millions of people room to breathe.

At my coffee morning in Bow last Friday, I asked residents: “If you could tell the new Prime Minister one thing, what would it be?”
I kept my word - message delivered to the incoming PM.

Lest we forget: When a Reform councillor shared a post saying Labour MP Natalie Fleet “should be shot”, Farage refused to condemn it or sack him at PMQs.
Starmer called for basic decency, Farage deflected to the Chagos Islands and reportedly mouthed “No I won’t”.
Now Muhammad Ziauddin Yusuf and the rest scream like they own the moral high ground on threats and standards?
The double standards are shameless.

What humbles me most about the Hillsborough families is that their fight was never just about themselves.
It was about ensuring no family, anywhere in our country, ever has to endure the injustices they faced.

Breaking: It has emerged that last year Nigel Farage was offered government-funded security comparable to that provided to Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch and senior Cabinet ministers, but reportedly turned it down.
For months, Farage pointed to a lack of state security to justify accepting an undisclosed £5 million gift. More recently, however, his explanation has shifted, with him describing it as an entirely unconditional gift that he could have spent on “Ferraris” if he wished.
That change matters. If the money was given for a specific purpose connected to his role as an MP or political activities, it could have different implications for parliamentary declaration requirements than an unrestricted personal gift.
This situation just keeps getting worse and worse for Farage.
