I’ve been working on a series of interactive art pieces and they use facial recognition. I came across examples from @PyImageSearch and actually got it working (which means they’re great examples)!!

YAY! My workshop has been accepted!
I’ll be hosting a basic robotics workshop @makerfaire 2019 on Sunday, May 19, 11am-1pm. $140 includes the @make robotics kit. We will explore how robots can move, think, feel, communicate, & respond by building one.

Today was my first time teaching a TK class binary:
Me: ask me a yes or no question
Kids: chicken
Me ( slower ) : no, ask me a YES or NO question
Kids: yes
Me: a question
Kids: what chicken?
🤣😂🤣 I had a blast. I might want to become a TK teacher now.
Made an LED bikini for #KAABOO !! I’ll add sensors later. Video on Instagram @Robotsaura
Best memories at my alma mater @UCSDJacobs and former workplace @QI_UCSD
