We had the chance to chat with @Fearnecotton for #OCDAwarenessWeek. We talked about the realities of living with OCD — a condition that’s often misunderstood. OCD goes far beyond just being “neat” or “clean”. It’s a complex mental health problem that can affect us in ways most people don’t see ❤️‍🩹  What do you wish people understood better about OCD? 💬#OCDAwarenessWeek

"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him. Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had. Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us." From a dad who saved a soul. Credit: Animal Alternative Therapy

“She would have been 7 years old on Feb 27. I rescued her when she was 2 days old. She had been released several times and always stayed close to home. she came back to give birth to her babies. Watching her delivery and raising her kits was the most amazing experience I have ever had being a rehabber. She was a fighter, she survived distemper, she was poisoned, several different attacks in the wild. The distemper left her with neurological issues, that point she was deemed non-releasable. She has been indoors with me for almost 5 years now. Her and I have been so much together. We both dependent on each other she could make it without me and I couldn't make it without her. The bond that her and I developed with each other was like no other that I've ever experienced. NAWTY fell asleep on my chest her last night and when I woke up she was still laying on my chest she looked up at me and licked my chin once then took a few deep breaths and she was gone. My heart is hurting so bad. I am totally lost without her. She was my soulmate there's no words that can describe how much I loved her. Thank you for accepting me into this group. And I'm sending my heartfelt condolences to all that have lost their love. Many blessings to you all. Credit: Ron Mack

This man has rescued and adopted dogs who have lost the use of their back legs, and every day he walks them to the dog park, where he reattaches their 'wheels,' so they can play. Faith in humanity restored ❤

Ukrainian refugee kids arrive in Italy, and start at local schools. On their first day they enter nervously. You won’t believe what the Italian kids did next …

If everyone who has ever been grateful for a doctor followed and retweeted we would reach a million in minutes and be able to show all NHS staff the support they continue to need. It will take just a few seconds of your life but could make such a difference.

I was proud to join @Autism today to support their campaign for more investment in autistic children’s futures. Many autistic children are waiting years for support in school and without action, they will fall behind. The upcoming SEND review is an opportunity to fix this.

Five-year-old Harmonie-Rose Allen had her limbs amputated after she contracted meningitis. She had a 10% chance of survival. She's just walked a half-marathon to raise money for charity (and might be able to present the weather better than @Lauratobin1!)
