Your thesis is allowed to be wrong. 😉
Imagine two investors with the same bullish thesis. The trend weakens, but both still expect a recovery.
One keeps the position because the story still makes sense. The other follows a system that has already moved risk-off.
If price recovers, the system can re-enter later and leave some upside behind. If price keeps falling, that allocation is already in cash.
✍️ This is the framework behind the systems I build inside RR Terminal. Trend-following defines the position. Quantitative filters keep each change measurable.
That is how I manage the systematic side of my portfolio: participate while the trend is favorable, step aside when it stops being favorable, and accept that the exact bottom and top were never mine to capture.
A few days ago, my read was simple: the rebound was possible, but it still lacked confirmation from real demand.
The latest daily close pushed that doubt in the wrong direction.
Market Fuel moved into Distribution. Spot CVD closed at -6.5K BTC, Coinbase premium at -0.156%, and none of the four demand sources was actively buying. Meanwhile, open interest is still building and longs remain the exposed side.
The move lower did not clear the leverage underneath it. Real demand is selling while borrowed exposure keeps rebuilding.
For this read to improve, spot CVD and Coinbase premium need to stop selling, followed by broader demand confirmation.
Until then, rebounds are trying to climb without sponsorship.

👀 Bitcoin fell with the tech selloff, but the part that caught my attention is in the options structure.
At $75,992, BTC is 0.85% below the $76,640 gamma flip. Net signed GEX is -$25M, placing dealers in negative gamma.
In this regime, hedging tends to follow the move instead of absorbing it. A broad risk-off shock can therefore hit BTC faster.
The next structural test is the $75K put wall. Reclaiming $76.64K would reduce that pro-cyclical pressure. Losing $75K would keep the tape exposed.
One caveat: implied volatility is already rich versus realized volatility. The structure remains unstable, but it offers no clean continuation edge.
This is the live Gamma Exposure view inside RR Terminal.
I use it to track where dealer hedging can absorb a move and where it may accelerate it:

Heads up for everyone using the RR Terminal 🛠️
Between today and tomorrow we're reworking some of the structure under the hood. Fixing bugs, cleaning up visuals, and making room for the upgrades coming next.
If something looks off in the interface for a bit, be patient with us 🙏
If you're not the patient type, DM me here on X and complain directly. I'll read it, lol 😅
📊 Leverage has been the main driver in Market Fuel for 29 straight days.
What caught my attention today is that demand is finally broadening. Three of four available sources are now buying.
I’m still not calling it spot-led. Coinbase premium remains negative, so US spot demand has not confirmed the shift.
Until that flips, leverage is still doing most of the work. 😉
I added ETF Demand to the free side of RR Terminal last week 📊
I built it because looking at one ETF flow headline rarely gives you enough context.
The indicator brings together:
• Daily flows across US spot Bitcoin ETFs
• Total BTC held by the funds
• The estimated average cost paid by ETF buyers
• Bitcoin’s distance from that cost basis
• Forward returns from comparable historical conditions
This helps separate a single noisy flow day from a real change in institutional demand.
Are ETFs consistently adding exposure? Are buyers sitting in profit or underwater? Is the pressure isolated to one fund or visible across the group?
That is the context I wanted to make easier to read.
ETF Demand is updated inside Market Map and available for free to every RR Terminal user. 👀

Quick update for everyone following the RR Terminal 📊
We've been in 100% cash for 19 days now. Both systems stepped out on October 14, and since then BTC is down more than 6% while we've been sitting flat, watching it from the sidelines 🛡️
The gains we built over the last three months are still with us. Vinces did +66.7% in that stretch, and none of it went back into this drop.
If you're looking at this dip wondering whether to buy it, or you're still holding a bag because you were sure it would bounce, I get it. I've been there 🙏 That's exactly the spot these systems were built to keep us out of.
Rule number one is not losing money. Making money comes second, and it only compounds if you respect the first.
So we're not guessing the bottom. We're waiting. When conditions turn favorable again, the systems put us back into a good position. Until then, cash is the position.
We get in when the odds favor us, we get out when they stop favoring us, and we leave a little on the table at both ends. Never the exact top, never the exact bottom. That's how a system like this moves, and it's how we operate.
The moment the signal turns, you'll see it in the terminal before you read it here. 🤝

Holiday in Brazil today, so I'm off the charts.
The market has been refusing to pick a direction anyway, and nothing I'd write today would be more useful than what I already wrote last week.
Back tomorrow with fresh analysis. Today is for family and touching some grass.
One of the new indicators I recently added to the free side of RR Terminal is Market Fuel. ⛽
And this is one of the worst readings I've seen so far. But this is exactly the reason why I wanted to build something like this. 😆
I wanted to build something you could actually use every day to understand what is driving Bitcoin before making a decision.
The idea is simple.
A move led by spot demand means real capital is entering the market. A move led by leverage means traders are using borrowed exposure through futures and perpetual contracts.
Both can push price, but they do not create the same market structure.
Market Fuel identifies who is pushing BTC, measures how hot leverage has become through open interest, funding and positioning, then checks whether the move is confirmed across spot flows, ETFs, Coinbase premium, wallet cohorts and exchange flows.
Right now, the regime has been leverage-led for 24 consecutive days, while spot CVD is running at -4.2K BTC per day.
This does not predict the next candle. It gives you the context behind it.
A leverage-led rally can continue. A spot-led rally can fail. But knowing the fuel helps you understand the behavior of the market and the risk you are accepting before the trade.
If you use Market Fuel every day, you can see who is driving the move, how much borrowed fuel is involved and whether real demand is confirming it.
I think this can make a real difference in how people read the market, so I decided to keep it free inside Market Map. Enjoy.

🩸 BTC fell 7.7% over the last 30 days.
Over the same window, the 1K–10K BTC cohort added 9.1K BTC. 🐳
The easy headline is “whales bought the dip.”
The horizon is the useful part.
The historical rank correlation with forward BTC returns is only +0.03 at 7 days. It rises to +0.23 at 60 days and +0.30 at 90 days.
For me, this is slow accumulation. It says very little about the next candle.
✍️ Short-term momentum remains weak, so bottom timing is still open.
The read weakens if the 30-day whale balance rolls back below zero.
I built the Smart Money Radar inside RR Terminal to separate cohort behavior by horizon instead of turning every whale movement into an immediate trade signal.

👀 Binance went quiet. Bitcoin exchange flows did not.
At 18:49 UTC, with the daily candle still open, CryptoQuant showed Coinbase Advanced at −4,012 BTC, its 8th-largest outflow day in a year.
OKX recorded +3,366 BTC, its 2nd-largest inflow day. Bybit added another +1,723 BTC, its 4th-largest.
I cannot say the same coins left Coinbase and entered OKX or Bybit. The data does not prove that.
But three rare exchange-flow prints developing together, while Binance withdrawals remain paused, make venue-level redistribution worth watching.
The real test begins when Binance reopens withdrawals. If this split persists, the redistribution is probably real. If it disappears, today was temporary rebalancing.

🐋 The record Binance outflow is already old news. The part I care about now is what happens when withdrawals reopen.
BTC flows have almost disappeared, but withdrawals are suspended. Near-zero activity under those conditions tells us nothing about confidence.
My view is simple. The first clean signal comes after users are allowed to move their coins again.
If transaction count expands while reserves keep falling, the incident has turned into a broader withdrawal wave. If activity normalizes and reserves stabilize, Oct 29 was mostly a concentrated operational event.
Until then, I would not read calm into frozen data.
The market was already risk-off before the hack, and I still think BTC needs more time to build a proper bottom. We can get squeezes and strong green days along the way, but one bounce would not repair the structure for me. 🤔
I went through the full picture, including Binance flows, Market Fuel, the macro regime and whale accumulation here:
