Huge contract for Kerbodyne
The only ones who win the space race are those who are still in the race - because the race never actually ends. America is in the space race. China is. So is India, Japan, and Europe.
Russia is lagging behind, and no amount of former glory will save their present decline.

The airborne view of this rocket plume is surreal: from deep sunset crimson and amber along the lower contrail up to the electric-blue "space jellyfish" expanding in the mesosphere, the transition reveals Earth's shadow line in real time
To other space fans - growing up did you sink to the bottom of the swimming pool and then try to hold your breath long enough, so that you could jump and sink back down and feel like you were an astronaut on the Moon?

it’s LITCHERALLY impossible bro. It’s LICHERALLY impossible.
Can people stop saying this dumb shit and have some moral courage and articulate *why they don’t like it* for the love of god

Lmfao a guy on the r/rocketry Discord server just posted a gif made by a Blue Origin insider that not just contains a new leaked angle of the NG-4 RUD, but also an internal dev name of a project called “Northstar”
The conclusion I draw from the roadster reveal is that we need to send a bunch of these to the Moon and do real life Mario Kart races

🔥 Just another day at Stennis. Stage 2 successfully completed its first integrated hotfire!
The A2 test stand was originally built in the 60s to support Saturn V Upper Stage testing (S-II). It was later reconfigured to be a single engine test stand for Shuttle Main Engine testing and development.
The last Saturn V Stage test occurred October 30, 1970 on A2. It has been 55 years, 11 months, and 17 days since A2 supported stage testing capability.
As of this morning, it is now 0 days.

September was a big month for test operations across our sites.
📍 NASA Stennis, MS
Stage 2 completed its first wet dress rehearsal! The team put the stage through flight-like propellant loading, COPV fills, engine chill operations, and a simulated stage 1 ascent timeline, building toward its first integrated hot fire.
📍 Long Beach, CA
All 13 Aeon R engines are installed on the thrust structure and are moving through integrated gimbal testing, validating their ability to pivot precisely to steer and stabilize the vehicle during flight.
