New Tesla owner represents a new generation of driver, one embracing FSD and zero emissions.
Bill Ackman on the current state of the Democrat party:
“The Democratic Party is in the worst place it’s ever been in the 250-year history of the country. It has become a crazy, radicalized, anti-American force. There are still some very high-quality Democratic senators and a few congressmen, but the party itself is in a very bad place.
“The problem with people who choose politics as a career is that you either get with the party or you get primaried.
“I had a good relationship with Senator Schumer over the years and thought he was a good man. In recent years, though, I’ve felt he’s mainly just trying to keep his job.
“That’s the real low point for politicians—when they compromise their values and support a quasi-terrorist, or a terrorist supporter, running for Senate in Michigan simply because the party demands it. I find that deeply concerning.”

Piers Morgan: Elon Musk is a superhero.
“I think Elon actually might be a superhero. What you know is almost every business he starts, everyone condemns it to immediate failure. Everyone thinks it's destined to fail. It cannot be achieved.
It's always done on a massive grandiose scale with a massive grandiose plan. And he's delivered.
SpaceX is probably the most coveted company in the world right now by every other successful businessperson. And people said, it's never going to work. This is going to throw good money after bad.
Look at what SpaceX does around the world now. Look at the satellite systems, never mind anything else, they are just on a different level to anything we've seen.
He's even, I saw the other day, planning to help with the countryside issue in the UK, if you live in the countryside, you don't get a phone signal. He just thinks I'll fix Britain and this phone signal.
Then you look at 𝕏 and what he's done there, it's gone from 67% Democrat, 32% Republican on 𝕏 to now it's pretty well 50-50. He's redressed the balance.
He's made it easier for conservatives not to be deplatformed and removed just because of their political allegiance.
So, he's democratized this very undemocratic but massively popular, powerful social media tool.
I look at all the things he's been doing, and I think, actually, what's the common thread here? All of it is a force for good.
All of it is ultimately designed to save us from ourselves. If you look at it, what is a superhero?
A superhero is somebody who thinks on a massively big scale for the good of the people and often saves the people from themselves.
I'm not saying he's a perfect human being. He can be difficult and all the rest of it. Of course he can. And he wouldn't say he's perfect himself.
But by a superhero criteria right now in the world, who is a bigger transformative superhero right now than Elon Musk? Who? Give me a name.”

FSD is a solved problem. Think about this. By the time there are 100k Cybercab hit the road, how amazing FSD could be. It’s iterative every day.
think FSD 14.3.13 is the highest-quality, most mature release of V14. The regressions I ran into on 14.3.11 and 14.3.12 are gone, and after a week of driving I haven't hit any noticeable issues. My biggest takeaway this week: most of the time I'm just riding along, which is probably close to what riding in a Cybercab feels like. 3.13 might already be very close to V15, or V15 could be coming soon.
The video below shows how well 3.13 handles a complex stretch of road. Heavy traffic, lots going on: a Costco, a Home Depot, fast-food places, and auto repair shops of all sizes. I needed to turn left 0.1 miles ahead, so my Model Y stayed in the left lane. A white van ahead was turning left into a fast-food place. The Y slowed, waited for traffic in the right lane to clear, quickly went around the van, and moved back into the left lane for the turn.
Then it got interesting. There were two left-turn entrances close together. Normally you'd just queue behind the black SUV ahead, especially at night with my view completely blocked. The Y paused for a moment, then started going around it. My first thought: uh oh, FSD is about to do something dumb and cut to the front of the line. My foot was ready on the brake to take over. But as soon as the nose cleared the SUV, I saw the left-turn lane ahead was empty. FSD's cameras had already seen it, and that's why it decided to go around. That chain of decisions, all in a few seconds, was seriously impressive.
