"Immigration reform should mean something else entirely: it should mean improvements to our laws and policies to make life better for American citizens."
I'd love if Dems said this. As much as I hate to admit it, Stephen Miller wrote those words.

A reminder, as polls open in Wisconsin:
Wisconsin has same-day voter registration.
So, if you haven’t registered or need to re-register, you can do so at your polling place (with ID and proof of residence) TODAY.
Every state should do this. It’s great that we do this. Go vote.

When it comes to the broken Evers-Vos-LeMahieu deal, those saying it would've created a structural deficit and created major problems for the next budget are groups like the Legislative Fiscal Bureau and Wisconsin Policy Forum, who offer nonpartisan analysis.
This is telling.

Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.

There is so dishonest, disingenuous, and disappointing.
1. The rebate checks would have completely skipped about 30% of WI adults, including seniors on Social Security, and half of the $ would have gone to those making over $100K per year.

Tony Evers fought so hard for so long for fairer maps that would give Democrats in the legislature an opportunity to have a seat at the table, but at a moment where it really mattered, he just never invited them to dinner.
NEW: I wrote about the "blockbuster" deal failing at the finish line, and how a fractured Republican Senate caucus and the Evers administration failing to engage with the Democratic Senate led to a missed opportunity.

When I describe Wisconsin as the “meth lab of democracy” this is exactly what I mean.
The Bradley Foundation funds advocacy, legal and organizing groups to shape WI, which was made more lethal by rigged maps and a Supreme Court that was as well.
We now have fair maps and fair courts. We’re a democracy again for the first time in 15 years. WILL moving into their billionaire’s HQ just underscores that they’re the legal firm for them, against us.
Wisconsin has a chance to break this system and win a trifecta in 2026. I will do everything in my power to make that happen.
