The Premier League is facing a crucial issue of legitimacy. Manchester City is the Macbeth of the English Football League. Divine right of clubs.
The EPL is an emblem of corruption. It hath murder’d sleep. It shall sleep no more.
Out, out damned 114 charges.
A Henderson would have been a fantastic addition.
Coventry aren't bad and have the ability to work it wide and into dangerous positions really well at times.
Dare I say they could have done what Chelsea did( within their budget) and looked for a Henderson, Welbeck, Xhaka type to help a lot of rookies through?
Even Villa's evolution relies heavily on McGinn and the older guard.
Maybe something for the Sky Blues to look at in January.

Thanks for taking one for the team Jay but that’s your last appearance on Sky.
All the best
It’s a play about responsibility.
The setting of pre-war Britain and some fairly stereotypical class-based situations are plot devices.
It’s allegory.
It’s a morality play.
It’s not a documentary about capitalism and socialism.
Get a grip.
⚠️ Broken education system.
As a 15 year old, I have seen some issues within the education system.
In my school, I learned about Inspector calls.
This novel, was written by a socialist named J. B. Priestley.
In the novel, we see a young woman commit suicide for her poor standard of living.
A rich family is investigated by an inspector as they are believed to be apart of the murder of the woman.
Why am I discussing this?
Well, as I was listening to it in school, I saw how many of my fellow pupils started to turn on the idea of capitalism and openly supported socailism without looking at any stats or facts.
This is bad.
It is taking away critical thinking within children.
I am calling on the Government and Lucy Powel to remove Inspector calls from the English lessons as it is not allowing children to think independently on whether they support capitalism or socialism.

RIP Jason Arday. I never met you, never knew you and what I read of your work I found unimpressive. And yet I feel a sadness and loss at your death. You never deserved for it to end this way. You were used and even abused by others for their own ends. I do not believe you were in any way a bad person. Indeed there are many reasons to believe you were a good person. You needed help. Yet when you needed help it never came. Despite the huge pile on, nobody seemed to be there for you. You were left to die on your own, which only adds to the sadness. RIP Jason Arday. You were failed by those who had a duty of care towards you.
Some Cambridge University staff are ultimately responsible for this. When you are high profile, you must behave like it. Very, very sad and unnecessary news.

A six-minute VAR delay with 25 replays to decide which of the multiple set-piece wrestling manoeuvres was clearly and obviously worthy of punishment. A fittingly decisive moment for the 2025-26 Premier League season.

I’ve just had a look and these are incredible. Thank you all 😍

The good thing about languages is that they don’t really change the course content too frequently. These centralised PowerPoint lessons save teachers time and have course content laid out, ready to go. There are only so many ways to skin a cat (I think is a saying).

Excited to announce that our forthcoming “New French GCSE grammar revision drills” book will be out in September. Lots of recycling and interleaving of the target grammar and vocabulary and…no sentence builders in it. @JezequelR @MrVinalesMFL @MartinLapworth @RyanCockrell14 @Language_Gym
